there's a little butterfly
lives to cause trouble
the second you taste
that bubble of fear
and you know you're in trouble
and you must tell a lie
sneaks down your throat
plays with your cordsa
and the wires as you think
and then a thought appears
and the little wings flitter
to fill in
for your
suddenly.
still.heart.
and the butterfly laughs
and flies from the harp
holding that lies will breed worse
but verity may-
so beware,
and blame it,
on the butterfly
lives to cause trouble
the second you taste
that bubble of fear
and you know you're in trouble
and you must tell a lie
sneaks down your throat
plays with your cordsa
and the wires as you think
and then a thought appears

but verity may-
so beware,
and blame it,
