I'm making this blog because some people who have power on servers abuse it. For example, I was on this new server I found here on PMC, and some lame Architect decided it would be "cool" if they pretended to be Notch, but they were... I won't say stupid, oops, I just did, and they didn't capitalize the "N" in Notch. So I said "Why don't you capitalize your name Notch?" Just a harmless bit of sarcasm, and guess what? I get banned with the message "Don't tell me what to do." Now doesn't that seem a little bit like misuse of server power? Banning someone for nothing? It's a disgrace to the server and frankly very sad and pitiful. I don't think it's right to misuse your rank on a server. I was helper on a server once and I did my job perfectly. I helped anyone who needed it, I was polite to everyone, and I didn't ask for a rank higher then the one I had. I don't know if everyone out there feels the way I do, but I think it isn't right that the bad people get all the power. Now, I know some of you guys are saying "Hey, I have a server rank and I don't misuse my power." Well it's true that some of us don't misuse server rankings, but some do and those who do are those this blog is referring to. Now, I just want you all to ask yourself, is power really worth making somebody angry at you, or maybe even making them hate you? I'm sure that the person who banned me is all "Oh I'm so cool, she'll never come back on here again." Well, they are wrong. I'm not some coward who gets temp ban and then never shows her face on the server again, and if you are that kind of person, then stand up and do something. Report the staff member to the server owner and tell them why that person made you upset, and, in most cases, the server owner will help you out and either ban the person immediately, or ask them if it's true. If the server owner talks to the staff member, they will most likely put up a case against you, saying you did something wrong or they might say you did something you didn't do, and in that situation, just hope that, since server owners usually make their friends staff, that the owner will take your side and do the right thing. The following is some mean and stupid things that have happened on servers to nice, good people;
1. Being muted for no reason
2. Being made fun of becasue the way you type or because of your username
3. Being banned because you asked a staff member a question they didn't want to answer
4. Being cussed at and or threatened in a private message by a staff member
5. Being banned for no reason
6. Being kicked off the server repeatedly by a staff member. For fun!

Thanks! (Not like I've gotten hate comments before, but this is a touchy subject.)
