Hey guys kobeisepic1 here with another blog about 1.7 and i know my other blogs suck but i think this one might hit the spot

So Minecrafts 1.7 update is being billed as something a little special by Mojang, the developer of the game -- world-changing, even.

Another blog post talked about the changes to the cube world and explained why the developers were referring to it as "the update that changed the world".
"It feels like we've been working on this for a year now," wrote Nathan "Dinnerbone" Adams. "We're calling this one 'The update that changed the world', because it really has in two different ways; there's over twice the amount of in-game biomes, and we've overhauled lots of the code preparing for the plugin API."

The increase to the number of biomes was one of the topics of conversation earlier this year when Mojang's Jeb participated in a Q&A session as part of London's Victoria & Albert Museum's Minecraft evening.

"One of the problems we have with world generation is biomes are placed more or less randomly. I really wanted to clean that up and add more variations and types."

Savannahs and different types of forest were some of the biomes mentioned as part of the event. These aren't mentioned specifically in these update notes but we have "double the amount of biomes, with new trees, flowers, blocks. New 'Amplified' world option. Less ocean, more awesome."

I know I always say this but you'll also be able to create stained glass blocks and panes. The absence of stained glass was previously explained by Jeb as relating to a bug where any transparent object behind another transparent object turned invisible. It's a bug that is fixed by the update and thus you can now get to work on your underwater chapel if that's what you're into.

Other additions of interest: Blocks including packed ice, red sand and podzol. There's also the ability to catch junk while fishing and you can decorate your walls with maps.
