A way to stop stolen skins on PMC?

I recently read a popular blog about how to stop skin theft, and it got me thinking about different way to potentially do that. Reverse image search engines (think Tin-Eye) have finally began to get popular on the internet, so I'm wondering why PMC doesn't take advantage of that technology. I have to wonder, would it be possible to implement something where skins are automatically checked on submission against all the other skins here on PMC? Any skin found to be, say, 30% or more identical to another skin on PMC would get a warning on stolen skins ("This skin contains potential stolen parts from other skins, are you sure you want to proceed with the submission?" or something along those lines), and would be flagged as a potential stolen skin in need of moderator review.

i saw one skin that was basically popularmmos skin just reskinned the eyes and gave it a cape :P

I made the mistake of not reading the full rules and copied a skin, and this could have been a great way to prevent it from happening. or it could prevent others from doing so to. you have my support

well yes but if you guys can implement that into this website what if it doesnt remove but instead just gives credit and also i agree with cjpb he is kinda rigth my enderman skins are enderman with my little pony cutie marks...i mean if this was implemented all of my skins but one mostly would be banned because they have "a little bit of skin" from another persons "skin" yet that could be wrong what if it was on accident that your shirt or whatev looks like "somebody else's skin" so my final answer yes and no no because well if you implement this in it will ban random skins mostly. yes because if you could script something to stop that skin promblem about randomness mostly what if you just sortave scripted a thing so it would ban only skins that are exactly and mostly i dont see what the promblem is with the diffrents skins like notch as long as there re -coloring it its not quite "note theres"
