Hi guys this is just a blog that came to me today while reading one of greytopher's blog's. Yes I know his blog has nothing to do with this one but, hey, we all get inspiration from the weirdest of sources right? Anyways, this article made me want to post a blog coming the bird's eye view of a server host.

When you're a player on the server, you really don't think of much when it comes to admins or what they do or all the hard work they put into a server. When you're a player on a server you're mainly thinking about what the server has to offer you as a player, whether or not this'll be worth your time and also, (i hope not all of you think this) whether i can grief this place or not :P. We've all had those thoughts or similar, but we never ask ourselves, am i doing something that might cause this admin/mod to be upset at me, am i not following the rules somehow, or am i really finding it worthy to take time out of my day just to troll this guy? (for most of this is a yes :P) Well users, sometimes it's not always just the staff that's being the jerk in this timeless bond between player and server staff. Believe it or not, it might actually be you *sarcastic gasp* dun dun dun

Yes users, sometimes you do stuff that MAKES us server staff members mad and irritable and yell at you and sometimes kick you. Hard to believe right? well believe it, and Io m not being snarky to any users who don't own servers (seeing as about 95% of the people who play Minecraft own some sort of server) what i am doing is informing you that some of the blame is yours to take. It's not always the mod or admins being a jerk face, sometimes the user's being the jerk face. Yes it is a server staff's duty to answer your questions, but that's why many public servers have rules on their sites if they have them, and make you read them so you WON'T find it necessary to ask all the questions. If i spent 3 hours of my day making a forum on my site for rules and questions about them, makes sense for you to read them. And saying that there was no link on the ad to the site, seeing as when most servers post an ad and have sites, they post a link to the site.

Whether youo re just trying to troll or genuinely confused, ito s still frustrating to a server host or admin when player dono t take the time to use the info that was setup SPECIFICALLY to help players. But it is what is, and this wasno t made to scold anyone, ito s just a note of some things that tend to happen. Please read the first blog of this series to fully understand what this is about. Leave comments and tell me what you think, your voice matters too :)

p.s. all of you just lost THE GAME
