So, after me and my dad left the house, we took the train (then the bus) to Chelsea Piers, and walked a bit to Bowlero. During the ride, he showed me a small portion of the gift: the “The Transformers” part of a 1980s The Transformers comic and a headphone box for the headphones I use for my Walkman. (He uses boxes from other things to hide presents.)

Once we got to the arcade (and bowling alley), we found a table and he took out my lunch: a PB&J, vanilla pudding, and an apple. I didn’t eat the apple, mainly because he also ordered fries like we always do at Bowlero. He had his pizza (which he ordered), and once we finished, he gave me my gift. There were several things in the big bag: a container containing one of the red velvet birthday cupcakes and a smaller bag with a bunch of stuff, including my presents. In that small bag was my dad’s copy of The Two Towers, because I had two pages left of the first Lord of the Rings, two cases containing 5 saxophone reeds (since I was on my last one in Band), and my three gifts: issue 13 of the original Transformers Marvel comic series (“Shooting Star!”), a blind-bagged Collection 3 Kreon Micro-Changer (I opened it at home and it turned out to be Nemesis Prime, so yay, now I can add him to my Kreo-O collection along with Huffer, Ramjet, Prowl, and a SWAT guy), and (as you can see from the title image) a vintage 1985 G1 Perceptor toy, complete with the instructions and both guns, as well as one of the three missile for the spring-loaded gun.

Then, we headed to the laser tag desk at 1:40. We were on a team with 6 other people (another family), but the dad didn’t play, so it was just me, my dad, and 4 sisters. Unfortunately, it was us (people above the age of 9) against a bunch of little kids (people under the age of 9, since the youngest kid was 9). I think they were here for one of the girls’ birthdays. My best shots on them were from behind. Also, my codename was Hellfire, while my dad’s was Phantom.

After the game, we played video games for about 15 minutes, and then left. Once I got home, I opened the Kre-O (which, as I said earlier, was Nemesis Prime) and played with Perceptor. I also looked at TFWiki and assumed this was the Japanese release because the spring in one of the guns still worked, and (as Transformers toy collectors will know) Hasbro always disables the springs. I’m still trying to pull out one of the wheels for Percy’s tank mobile laboratory mode.
