It seems now-a-days that I'm the only one out of my friends that just doesn't get bored of plain Vanilla Minecraft, I can't fathom why. I've been playing Vanilla since Minecraft's Beta 1.2 release, so around December 2009, and I have just never gotten bored of it. Yet, a lot of my friends I play MC with leave to go play FTB, and sometime they even get bored with that. Is it that I'm just easily entertained? I don't understand why I'm the only one able to play the game for so long with no mods and not get bored of it.
I really rarely get mods, and when I do they're utilities, not fun mods, like SPC, OptiFine, and WorldEdit CUI. I actually cannot stand playing with so many things to worry about at once, like Tekkit and FTB throw at you, like the extra ores, computers, more monsters, etc. I just don't see the appeal.
I can't be the only one. Anyone else?

and nope, you're not, i've been playing for this long and still not bored, it's all about finding your own entertainment, and you obviously have
the people you talk about are probably following what everyone else is doing and not thinking of their own things they could do
so basically you're not the only one
