After exploring around for some mods and tools to help me create an animated-style Minecraft video, I was finally able to take the time to create this cinematic. It doesn't have much of a story line, but it's packed to the brim with epic-ness. :D

Now, if you want to know how to create something like this yourself, here's how:

Method #1:

If you want to have the same effect, you'll need the following mods:

• Mo' Bends
  
  
• Replay Mod
  
  
• Shaders (The specific one I used is the TME Shaderpack)
  
  

The Mo' Bends mod is what really makes this feel like it was animated. If you want that feel, with the extra level of character movement, you'll definitely want this mod.

The Replay Mod is in of the best ways to capture cinematics like this one, with a character (Being yourself). It's a bit confusing to get the hang of, but once you're used to it, it's really not very hard. You can find a tutorial on how to use it here.

Shaders, are of course the ideal way to make the cinematic look gorgeously beautiful, and the great thing about the replay mod is that you won't need a beast of a computer to run them, because renders the video not in real time. Meaning you could have the slowest computer in the world, and it might take more time to render, but the finished product will look super smooth.

The final step is not so easy. Actually putting together the video will require a video-editing program. You can search around for one that best suits you, but it's hard to find a balance between it being free/inexpensive and actually being powerful enough to create a cinematic like this one.

Method #2:

If you want to create machinemas or other videos that have a larger amount, and more detailed characters, then you'll want to use a mod called Blockbuster Machinima. It's a great tool that allows you to have multiple characters of different mobs or skins in the same scene. You can see a tutorial on how to use it here.
