An Interview With- Oceanus5000!

Hey guys! This is my interview with Oceanus5000! Enjoy!

Question 1- Did you find PMC randomly or were you introduced to it?

His Answer: I was introduced to PlanetMinecraft by my friend Hobbes_TigerClaw. He had told me about it, but I never actually got my account up and running until much later in the year.

Question 2- What do you find enjoyable in making skins?

His Answer: I just like that I can create original Skins and not something that has been done a kajillion times like Mario or Five Nights at Freddy's. That's what I enjoy the most about Skinning. :D 

Question 3- Who is your favourite YouTuber?

His Answer: I actually enjoy one group of YouTube channels called the (Me too! :D) YOGScast, and a second, more independent one calledSomeOrdinaryGamers. Both of them are incredibly great community-wise and I suggest you all take a look at them. 

Question 4- Where Did you get your name?

His Answer: There's actually a funny story behind my username. It all started when I found a YouTube channel called Gaiacrusher9, which I thought was an awesome username at the time, and still do to this day. I brainstormed for a long time before a Social Studies class in 6th grade sparked some interest in a username for anything social, including PlanetMinecraft, Steam, etc. You see, on the way to America, the Pilgrims had one child that was born on The Mayflower, and there is a large dispute between many historians on whether the child was a boy named Oceanus or a girl named Oceana. I personally believe the child was a boy, and so that's how I got "Oceanus". The "5000" is just from that being my favourite number. 

Question 5- Do you like Minecraft or Pokemon better?

His Answer: I'm a little partial to both, I guess. I've only played a few minutes of a few Pokémon games, and while I love almost all of the other Gens (except for Gen 5, that one was horrible), I prefer the first Gen, mainly because my favourite Pokémon is Gardevoir. The community as a whole isn't really my sort of thing, though, especially with all of the new things like IV and EV or whatever they're called and many players only focusing on scamming others. As for Minecraft, I enjoy the game, but again, the community sucks. It's full of kids who act like they have "swag" or that they're "Minecraft pros" because they watch SkyDoesMinecraft, as well as the trolls, Herobrine fanboys, and overall egoistic jerks. Granted, that's not the entire community, but it's a vast majority of it. 

Question 6- Who is your favourite PMCer?

His Answer: Ooh, that's a toughie. If I had to pick one, though, it would probably be Hobbes_TigerClaw. I enjoy his works and he's my best friend IRL, so we do a lot of Minecraft and other stuff together on a fairly regular basis. I've even done a few Skin collabs with him, so be sure to check his page out! 

Question 7- Would you Rather:
Have a private jet OR
A submarine?

His Answer: A submarine. Defnitely a submarine. Painted blue and gold, too. With tridents. It has to have the tridents.

His Answer: I thoroughly enjoyed this interview, thanks for having me! No complaints that I can think of, either.
