One Time when i was first starting to play minecraft....
I went onto the BeanBlocks server by SmallishBeans...
I would play on the sky block thing NON-STOP. My island was extremely successful. I had made a pretty big house for a sky block house, normally would be due to limited supplies. I had a whole farm going with MELONS:3, carrots and other stuff. I was a noob back then so when people would ask on the chat " Does anyone have a house i could join??" i would be the person to let them to my place. I had like 5 people in my group on the island. Most of the time they wouldn't come on but every once in a while they would come on. One day, one person come on ( a person part of the island group thing) and asked me " can i make a house on here??" then i answered "Sure!" So the person made a huge house aside of the island. But, The person forgot to put torches on the roof. What lead after that, Hostile creatures. Not a few, like 74 of them! Then my whole entire sky block island was infested with tons of creatures. Blowing every thing up, and all. So, I couldn't kill all of the creatures. There was WAY too many of them!! So, I had to delete my successful island. I then did /island delete, deleting 5 months of hard virtual work. Gone. But then I worked on their creative thing a ton.
Moral Of the story: Put torches on the top of a house your friend made on your sky block island that you worked extremely hard on or else you may have to delete your beloved island!
