Hey Guys!

Its Formula Pig and i'm here to teach you the basic Arrow Jump!

This is my very first submission! I hope you enjoy and I apologise for any spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes.

"What is Arrow Jumping?"

Arrow Jumping is a technique used to send the user flying over a gap or hole that cannot be reached by a jump itself. The user can only use this technique if they have an enchanted bow.

The enchantments on the bow must be the following.
-----
Punch II
Infinity I*
-----
*Infinity is not mandatory but recommended so you have an unlimited supply of arrows
-----

How to Arrow Jump!

Here are the main 4 step to successfully do an Arrow Jump!
(Sorry about no pictures, i'm not that experienced.)
-----
1) Get a walking start before your obstacle approaches you. There should be no sprinting for this version, sprinting uses a different guide. (which is coming soon.)

2) Aim over the horizon line. Which means the line where your rendering stops that division between the sky and the land is your horizon line. Try aiming above it but not too high, you want to be able to see a little bit of your obstacle while your walking up to it.

3) Shoot your arrow very lightly so the arrow will only travel around 1-2 blocks. You know what i'm talking about? When you barely pull back your bow so the arrow land only a block in front of you! Do exactly that while aiming above your horizon line. (Your pull back should last about a second.)

4) Right after you shoot the arrow walk past it so the arrow will it you in the back directly so it will send you flying. Remember to walk forward right after your arrow goes forward, if done correctly the arrow will hit you and shoot your forward. Your distance-to-height ratio will depend on how high you point your cursor above the horizon line.
-----

Reason's to use this.

After you have mastered this. (Which might be awhile, not going to lie.) You can use this in many different scenarios, Especially during PvP. But here are a few.
-----
1) Jumping over a pit of Lava
2) PvP: escaping bases
3) Custom parkour
(Plus it's really fun :D)

Thanks for the support, i did not copy sethbling. He had his own way of doing it when he posted it on youtube, When i was doing it i made this walking version that is more easier to learn. Its a different way of doing it so its unique.

I'm soon making another on how to do a sprinting and jumping version of the Arrow Jump!

Thank you again for your support.

Why does it need power?

You don't need power, I used it as an example since you usually get punch and power together when enchanting a bow.

Yes he told you about it first, but I've also had my own easier version for jumping over 7-8 blocks. Not as much as 24 blocks.
I wanted to make my own easier and simpler version to share with the community, and i'm continuing this with more advanced and complicated versions.
Isn't this a place to share new ideas?

Thanks for your feedback.

I wonder if anyone will ever use this in a Parkour course. It'd be hard to master, but cool.
