Io m going to quit Minecraft. Ito s been interfering with school. Although I learned about redstone and logic from Minecraft, redstone isno t useful to me anymore. I mainly do stuff in programming now. Now all I do in Minecraft is PVP and survival, so Io ve decided to move on.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
But before I quit Minecraft, I want to complete a project. Io ve never completed a big project before, and Io d like to have something to show for the time Io ve spent.
Here are some possible projects. I wono t necessarily build what is the most voted, but Io ll decide based on the votes.
Options:
If you want, vote in the comments. Just typing the number is fine. You can vote for 2 things.
1. A CTM (wool hunt survival style). Io ve barely started a wasteland style map. I could also try floating, cave, or some other style if you want. (Size: large.)
2. The MinePod. An ipod in Minecraft I designed a while ago. Anyone with minimal redstone knowledge could create songs. Songs could be downloaded from the actual internet by downloading and importing MCedit schematics. (Size: medium.)
3. A small CPU based on the RedAppe. (Size: medium.)
4. A redstone tutorial map. It would include sections from logic gates to neural networks to CPUs. I would like to make it a community project after the first version. (Size: small.)
5. A small neural network. Io ve made a lot of progress since the last RedSlime update, and now I have a full system for prediction and behavior. I would try to include behavior, although it would take a while and be derpy with such a small neural net. (Size: large.)
BTW, Io m in the middle of programming a neural network which is capable of prediction and behavior (essentially intelligence and the ability to take actions.) Io ll post the code and how it works on some website sometime not soon. (You wono t need to know python to understand how it works.)
Thanks to everyone on Planet Minecraft. I'm sorry to disappear. I really need to quit Minecraft though. I'll still respond to stuffs.

I'm going to build the MinePod, and maybe an adventure map.
The old project I have for it is a bit ridiculous. All those components means a slow machine, which isn't acceptable with music. They would also cause a lot of lag, making the music jittery.
What we need is something small and elegant. It will be a pipeline (which is like an assembly line, increasing speed by doing different steps all at once). That could allow for a bunch of extra features, but the lag makes me hesitant.
About the adventure map. I've been working on it for a couple weeks, and its been kind of fun, so I might finish it.
I've decided to keep designs secret until I am at least 1/2 done building the MinePod. Shouldn't take long.

Seems that large redtone computers is a dying race :'(
Oh, and the MinePod is on hold for a couple more weeks while I finish stuff for school.
Sad you are leaving :,(
