My idea is a sword that is powered by a blaze rod. I thought of it because there are barely any uses for the blaze rod. All you can you it for is to create blaze powder or a brewing stand. Now if you are a blaze slayer you aren't going to want a ton of blaze powder in your chests. What you have to do is take the basic shape of a golden sword but instead of putting a stick as the handle you put a blaze rod.

The reason I think this is a good idea is not only it uses a blaze rod but because it is as strong as an iron sword, it lasts as long as a diamond sword, and when you hit an enemy it sets it on fire. Now the fire isn't that strong because it doesn't last forever but it does a good amount of damage to the mob. Now to keep over damage from happening, the sword will not be able to set trees or anything else on fire besides a living mob.

I think this would be beneficial to Minecraft because it puts good use to the blaze rod, it's really beneficial to the player because it's as strong as an iron sword, lasts as long as a diamond sword, takes two gold but is stronger than a gold sword, AND sets mobs on fire. Lastly if you use this on a pig or a cow they will drop a cooked porkchop or steak.
