Brainstorming Properly!!






Tired of always seeing the same blog over and over again? Tired of rewriting blogs so it seems like their different from the other blogs? Well look no farther hereo s the key to making sure your Blog is top Notch (No pun Intended). Before I start I would like to thank a few people!!

Now to get started!!


1: Observe



This is a very important of the process.



You have to be very alert when brainstorming, for anything whether it youo re Skinning, Texture Pack, Blogging, Making Servers Etc. Be aware of what the community likes and what others are posting. Check the Forums, especially the ones that are related to the topics you like to Blog about, Hereo s an example. o If you know how to make Skins search the Skins part of the Forums for issues other people are having with their skin stuff, then you will be able to figure out what the community needs.o






2: Record



This is my favorite of these tips, I literally carry around a Notebook wherever I go and right once I hear something or think of something I write it down. Never trust yourself to remember, Io ve lost a lot of good blogs this way. You want to make sure you have all of your notes organized in a way that you can just sit down and write it as quick as possible (but make sure your grammar is proper).






3: Expand






This is probably the most difficult to accomplish (for me at least).



So know you have the idea recorded and ready to written down on paper, but is it really ready? So if I decide to write a Blog on Skinning using MCskin3D (Just an example) I have my main topic but I dono t really know what I am going to write about. Is this what Io m going to say o MCSkin3D is a great Skin editor to useo Can you see how empty that is? That is why you have to be able to expand your topics. As you can see in this blog I have it expanded fairly well, I have my main topic o Brain Storming Properlyo then I have my breakout sessions o 1:, 2:, 3:, Etc.o






4: Writing it down






This is probably the easiest of the steps.



You want to make sure you write your blog (or whatever youo re writing) down, almost, exactly as you have taken the notes. It is very important you keep checking your notes to make sure youo re on track with them, because the last thing you want to see is that you write it down and you found out that it was in the wrong order.
