The greatest debate!


One that has been going on since the two desserts were invented!


Which is better:


CAKE

PIE?


Both are delicious!


Both are desserts!


Both have a multitude of flavours!





But whicho ¦. Is the best?





In this blog, you will find points on both sides, with little or no bias (I try)

And HOORAY this finally has something to do with Minecraft, since pumpkin pie was added!! :D





Let us begin!!





Pie


Pie. Pie is a century old dessert, which can be served with ice cream, among other things. It can be found in many flavours, from pumpkin (Minecraft!) to blueberry. Ito s got different textures, to suit all tastes, like gooey, or chunky. Ito s a well-rounded food, very flexible, and very tasty. Lastly, it is used in many different contexts, including math!





So, unlike cake, pie has a lot of fillings. can fill a pie with practically every fruit in the world (Yes, pumpkins ARE fruits)! There are mixtures too, and even though you may not have a recipe, ito s quite possible to experiment with different fillings and tastes, to whatever you fancy. Also, as well as having an original taste, each filling has ito s own texture too. Pumpkin pie is soft, apple is chunky, and berry is gooey. This means that if someone doesno t like a particular flavour or texture, they dono t have to eat it!


Pie is also flexible and well known. Unlike cake, it is perfectly okay to eat pie at another meal, other than dessert or for a snack. It is quite popular for breakfast, among other things. Also, pie is used in a bunch of other formats. First, ito s an important figure in math, representing a number (close to 3.14159265834), and is used constantly and commonly. Also, ito s used in the saying o easy as pieo , showing how simple and easy pie is, continuing to make it more famous. Lastly, there is the awesome and popular PIE FLAVOUR, which is the epic combination of pie, pie and pie.





Pie is flexible, and well known, and contains such varieties that they cannot be listed. Ito s delicious and popular, and is therefore the best, and most epic of all. So, vote for pie!





Cake


Cake is the best! Ito s super easy to make, either from scratch, or from boxes! You can have as many different versions as you like, just by adding simple toppings, like icing, or sprinkles! People can make cakes look epic, like something they areno t. How abouto ¦ a chest! Or a shield! Ito s your choice. Cake is used for celebrations, and is practically expected at birthdays! Cake is a simple, special food.





If you dono t have much time, just purchase a box cake, and youo re done. If you want to go for the home run, make one from scratch, using commonly found ingredients. This means you can have cake every night, if you want. Also, cake can be decorated, and made in to so many different things. Some people have made epic creations out of cake, and there are even TV shows about the masters! If you want to go simple, just splatter on some icing and sprinkles for extra decoration and taste. Lastly, how would a birthday be without a cake? Just plain depressing. Cake is the star attraction at many celebrations, and is even used to make the yule log for Christmas. So, cake is simple, but amazing.





So, to go over all of that, cake is easy, quick to decorate, and special. These three reasons should make it obvious to you that cake is obviously be your one and only choice for dessert, and therefore the best. Cake forever!!
