Can you please help?

I was on Notch's twitter the other day (Stalking him as usual ;) ) and I noticed Jeb's post about MineCraft 1.9 pre-release so i downloaded it and placed the JAR file in the .minecraft bin, when I started playing MineCraft I could not play any maps or make any new ones. A file named hs_err_pid1260 appeared in my downloads file and I was amazingly pissed off.

Can someone please help??

OK go onto the .minecraft folder and save your save worlds( if you some how get any and if not then skip that instruction)and then delete your bin folder in there, once you do this make a new bin folder and then it should be all fixed up but all your worlds will still be gone.
