Once in a very small NPC village there lived a young librarian named Cindy. There were only two families in Cindy's village, her family and another family. Cindy had a big brother named Jeff who was an adult and farmer. Her parents were both librarians, like her. She liked playing tag with her best friend, Mallory, around the village and in her parents library, and have long conversation in Mallory's father's butcher's shop. Mallory was an only child.
One sunny morning, Cindy woke up in Jeff's farmhouse, where the family slept because there were no beds in the library. Cindy walked out of Jeff's farmhouse and went up to the butcher shop, where Mallory and her parents lived. She knocked on the door and waited. Then Mallory's mother, who was a librarian who worked at Cindy's parents' library. "Hello Cindy." she said "I was just about to go the library. Mallory is riding Sally and will be back shortly." Mallory and her family always woke up early. Sally was Mallory's pet pig. even though her father was a butcher, Mallory was against the killing of animals. After much begging from Mallory, her father said he would not kill any of the animals who were currently in the pen behind the shop which were two cows and a pig. Mallory asked her father for a saddle and saddled the pig. She let the cows out of the pen and into the fenced in town and now if you were wandering the small town you would see a cow or two wandering around aimlessly. "When did she leave?" Cindy asked. Mallory's mother looked at her watch "Forty-five minutes ago." she replied and paused "Forty-six." she corrected after the minute hand on her watch moved over a notch. "I'll wait in the shop." Cindy said "Okay. Jimmy is cutting some ham cubes to deliver to the desert city so he'll be leaving soon." Mallory's mother said "Okay." Cindy said and walked into the shop. Mallory's mother walked out and closed the door behind her. Mallory's father looked up from his cutting and looked at Cindy. "Hey Cindy." he greeted her "Hello Mr. Bloom." Cindy said. Mallory's full name was Mallory Anna Bloom and Cindy's was Cynthia Ophelia Clyde. Cindy sat down at the table in the corner of the shop and waited for Mallory to ride in the door.

This was Chapter One of this story and will get better later on because there isn't an adventure yet and Chapter One was mostly just introducing the characters. Comment any suggestions or compliments you have. Check back tomorrow for Chapter Two.

CHAPTER 2

Cindy waited and listened to Mr. Bloom cutting the ham. Then Mallory rode into the shop on Sally "Hi Dad! Hi Cindy!" she called as she dismounted. "Hi Mallory!" Mr. Bloom called and put the diced ham into a pile. He stepped away from the counter "Cindy," he said "is Jeff at the farm house?" "I don't know" Cindy admitted "I just walked over here when I woke up without looking for him." "Well I need a plastic bag, will you girls guard the ham while I go check? Unless you want to come Cindy." Mr. Bloom told the girls "I'll stay here." Cindy said "If that's okay with you." "It's okay Cindy you can stay here." Mr. Bloom said and walked out of the shop, shutting the door behind him. "Cindy!" Mallory said excitedly as soon as her father shut the door "Guess what I found!" "What?" Cindy asked, wondering why her friend was so excited. "A cave!" Mallory said happily "Remember? We read about them in your parents' library. It said they had coal and iron and sometimes even gold and diamonds!" "Cool!" Cindy said excitedly "If we had some coal Jeff and Dad wouldn't have to go out cutting down trees for the furnace!" "And neither would my dad!" Mallory said happily "And if we had iron we could get an Enderman to make us an iron golem like we read about! Then the zombies wouldn't beat on our front doors anymore!" Cindy said, getting more excited by the second "And diamonds are SO pretty!" Mallory squealed "But the book said diamonds were rare." Cindy pointed out "We'll find some, I just know it!" Mallory argued "And we have to go in so we can have coal, iron, and diamonds!" "Where is it at?" Cindy asked "I'll show you." Mallory said "Come on!" But then Mr. Bloom came in carrying a gallon plastic bag. "Jeff was there and he said he's about to go out to cut wood." Mr. Bloom told the girls "He told me to ask Cindy if she'd like to come." Mallory nudged Cindy and mouthed the word "Yes" Cindy smiled, knowing why her friend had told her to say yes. "Yes, I would." she said happily "Can Mallory come too?" Mr. Bloom nodded "It's fine with me." he said. "Let's go!" Mallory yelled and the girl sprinted out the front door and into the farm house "We're coming with you to cut wood!" Cindy exclaimed when she saw her brother. Jeff looked over the girls "Why are you two so happy?" he asked. "We'll tell you later." Cindy told him "Maybe." Mallory added. Before Jeff could reply the girls were out of the farmhouse skipping towards the town gate
That was Chapter Two! I hope you enjoyed! Chapter Three will be added either later today or tommorrow! (Also, ignore the picture because I didn't know you only had to post one picture per blog....sorry!) Don't forget to tell me if you like it so far (either by giving a diamond or commenting)

CHAPTER 3
They waited at the gate for Jeff. Jeff walked up to them and unlocked the gate "Stay with me."he said "If you get lost you'll probably be bitten by a zombie tonight." Then Cindy remembered something "Mallory!" she whispered into her friend's ear "Remember? Zombies live in caves!" Mallory smiled and looked up at Jeff. "Jeff," she asked casually "Do you happen to know where the desert village my dad id going to is at?" Jeff stopped and looked Mallory over. "Yes." he said "But we're not going there." "Why not?" Mallory asked. Then Cindy realized why Mallory wanted to go to the desert village. "Can we please go there Jeff?"she asked her brother. "Why?" Jeff asked Then Cindy told him about how Mallory had found a cave and that they wanted to go to the desert village to get swords and pickaxes from their blacksmith because there wasn't a blacksmith in their village. "Those caves are dangerous." Jeff told them "They're no place for children." and then he walked on. Instead of following him, Cindy and Mallory stayed where they were. "We can go into a cave ourselves and come out with coal, iron, and diamonds." Mallory said confidently "Come on Cindy, we can find that desert village ourselves." Cindy hesitated. "I don't know, Mallory." she told her friend "Jeff said caves were dangerous." "Well I'm going." Mallory said harshly, and then added in a softer tone "But even if you don't come I'll give you and your family half of the treasure I find." Mallory started to walk away and Cindy ran after her "If your going I am too." she said "Now, we need to find the dessert village." Mallory closed her eyes. When she opened them she pointed to the left. "That way." she told Cindy "How do you know?' Cindy asked "I'm just guessing." Mallory admitted "But I still think we should go that way." "Okay, whatever floats your boat." Cindy said, shrugging and the two friends ran to the left. They got slower and slower as the minutes went by. The sun was setting as the girls came upon a desert. They had been walking, but when they saw the desert they broke into a jog. Then they were standing on the desert sand. "We're here!" Mallory yelled joyfully "Look!" she pointed to what appeared to be a lump of sandstone in the distance. The girls high-fived. Then the sun was completely set and they watched as a skeleton spawned. "Uh-oh." Cindy said under her breath and Mallory gulped. Then they heard zombie noises behind them and the girls ran for their lives.
That was Chapter Three! I hope you enjoyed! Chapter Four will be added either later today or tomorrow.

I'm sorry it took so long but here is Chapter Four

CHAPTER FOUR

More zombies joined in the chase as Cindy and Mallory ran towards the desert village. Their legs ached from running and walking all the way and they were terrified. They ran into the desert village, zombies still in pursuit. Then a very large silver with red eyes lumbered up to them. Cindy gasped as she recognized the creature from a picture in a book in her parents' library. The creature took both of his arms and hit one of the zombies. The girls ran into a building and leaned against the wall, gasping for air. "There's an iron golem in this village." Cindy said between breaths. Mallory looked out of a window "And it's killing the zombies." she said and turned away from the window Then they noticed a man looking very angry looking at them. "We're sorry." Cindy told him. "Some zombies were chasing us." "Zombies?" the man asked and walked over to the window. He looked out. "Wow! I've never seen a living creature besides us villagers here in fifteen years! It's too hot here for most creatures. Not even my crops live in this blistering hot weather we get here." "He spawned at the border of the desert." Mallory told him "It's not as hot there." the man replied "Anyway, the citizens of this town have to order produce from the closest town, which is still about twenty miles away from here. A farmer like me, but successful, delivers them. His name is Jeff. He's coming really early in the morning tomorrow." "Here?" Cindy echoed "This building." the farmer confirmed "And some others." Cindy looked outside the window and saw that all of the zombies were dead. "We must be going now." she told the farmer "Now?" the farmer echoed "Why?" "We are here to visit someone."Mallory told the farmer "Let's go Sophie." Cindy looked at her friend "Let's." she said and they walked out of the farmer's house. "How come you called me Sophie?" Cindy asked after she had closed the door behind them "To throw him off." Mallory explained "If Jeff came and asked about us he wouldn't tell him about us because he thinks your name is Sophie and Jeff would say you were named Cindy." "Good idea" Cindy exclaimed "Now let's go look for a blacksmith. I'll go right you look left." So that's what hey did. Then Cindy found a building identical to a picture in one of the library's books with the caption A Blacksmith house in a desert village She was about to yell her friend's name when she realized someone would hear her and they would mention the yelling of "Mallory!" when Jeff asked them about them and told them their names so she decided to yell "Amy!" knowing that Mallory would recognize her voice and come. Mallory hurried up to her and then saw the blacksmith house. "We found it!" she yelled happily and they ran into the building.
If you like the story so far don't forget to check back tomorrow for Chapter Five and diamond and/or comment.

CHAPTER FIVE

Mallory flung open the chest in the house. Inside were a freshly made iron pickaxe and two apples. "Yes!" Mallory yelled and picked up the iron pickaxe. "This is heavy." she told her friend and put the pickaxe back in the chest. They tried to pick it up together but it was still too heavy. They dropped it onto the floor and it made a loud CLINK! They waited to see if anyone had heard the noise but no one came, either not heraing it or not curious enough to go and see what it was. Then Cindy got an idea. "Let's try to carry it out." she told her friend "I got a plan." Together, they picked up the pickaxe and carried it out of the building. "To the iron golem." Cindy told her friend and they carried it to the iron golem. "Will you please hold this?" Cindy asked the iron golem and they reached out the pickaxe towards the iron golem. He took it "It worked!" Cindy said excitedly "But how can we get it to the cave to mine with?" Mallory asked Cindy went into the farm house they had been in earlier and Mallory followed her "Sir," Cindy asked the farmer "may we ask you a favor?" The farmer looked at her "What is it?" he asked "Will you please go to a cave and mine for us? We'll give you some of our findings if you do." The farmer thought over the idea "You'll need both a sword and a pickaxe for that." he told the girls. They nodded. "Alright." the farmer said "When will we head out?" "We will go the cave tonight." Mallory told him."Can't you wait until morning?' the farmer asked them. They both shook their heads. The farmer sighed "Well let's go." he said "We don't have a sword." Cindy told him "Well I have an old diamond one I've had for many years. It's been passed down my family." the farmer told them and smiled "I guess now it will finally be used." He opened up a chest in the corner of the room and heaved out a diamond sword. "Where's your pickaxe?" he asked the girls "The iron golem is holding it for us." Mallory told him "It's very heavy." Cindy added "Let's go get it back." the farmer said "Where is this cave?" " A long way from here." Mallory replied "We better hurry then if you want to be back soon." the farmer said "Mining takes awhile." Cindy opened the door and they walked into the humid night. The farmer walked up the iron golem and he took the iron pickaxe. "Aren't those heavy?" Mallory asked him "I'll manage." the farmer replied They walked out of the village. As they neared the border of the deer, they started seeing hostile mobs, none of which doing anymore than looking at them. Then a zombie walked towards the. The farmer dropped the pickaxe and fought the zombie with the diamond sword. The zombie ,of course, lost. He picked up the pickaxe and they walked across the border and got closer to the cave. Along away they talked and the farmer taught them how to swing the iron pickaxe, which was still hard for them because it was heavy. If a zombie came after them the farmer killed it and if more than one came one of the girls would hit them with the iron pickaxe to get them away until the farmer could attack them. The sun was beginning to set when they reached a hole in the ground "We're here!" Mallory called. They cheered, not knowing that the adventures they would have in the cave would be no cheering matter.
