Hello ! ^^

The purpose of crossbow is that u can shoot three arrows by one shoot.And you can kill more mobs by one hit it can give critical hit or normal hit.If all three arrows hit one mob it will kill him in one hit.But it will have lesser range of shooting.

So it requests three wooden planks,two sticks and two strings.And it also can be upgraded by iron and other ores.

Crossbow will help because its another shooting weapon because you only got bow for a shooting weapon in minecraft :/.Sadly it will continue to be only one shooting weapon.
