Note: This is my own personal opinion, and yes, I know this is the internet so if you don't agree with my opinion I should be condemned, but please be respectful. Thank you.

Hiyas! Nice to see you! What up? Okay that's enough...

This is a blog about that one thing people tend to get very angry about, for no odd reason (Unless you count teen skins, cute skins, emo skins, creeper hoodie skins, unoriginal skins, badly shaded skins or naked skins, yeah, unless you count all those things this is a blog about the one thing people tend to get angry about for no reason)

CURSING. SWEARING. FOUL LANGUAGE. BAD WORDS.

What is the big deal? I curse, I'm not even going to deny it, I curse. Its just part of my vocabulary, and unless its used in a seriously derogatory manner I don't mind it at all. So why? Why do people over react to it so much?

Honest Answer: I haven't got even the slightest clue.

Opinionated Answer (Oh no, here come the opinions): Parents and Religion. My parents have a rather lax stance on cursing, as long as they don't hear me doing it until I'm eighteen they're fine with it, although I know that some of my friends who curse occasionally then have to beg EVERYONE who heard to not tell their parents that they said it, for fear of getting into trouble, and here is where the religion comes into play, every single one of the people who are scared of their parents finding out are from religious family's, and while I kind of understand the "Taking the lords name in vain" thing that some people have, I don't understand what is wrong with regular curse words? I mean, they're just words that for some reason modern society has branded taboo?

I respect people who choose not to curse and I respect those who do, but I can't understand why people react in fear or anger to the words. Especially when it is on a Youtube video or Minecraft server. There is not one Skydoesminecraft video I have watched where there isn't a comment every ten eight five two seconds like:

"Can you please stop using bad words" (Although its usually written like this: "stop using bad word plz")

And on servers I have a slightly different view: Try not to curse. While I firmly believe everyone has the right to curse, you have got no idea how old the people on those servers are, and I for one don't want anymore foul mouthed six year olds out there, mainly because they are SOOOO annoying, as is elongating words.

Thank you for reading my blog and, if you are one of the people who doesn't agree with cursing I would be very interested for you to explain why in the comments section.

I would take into consideration the actual meaning of each of the more popular swear words. Some of them are extremely discrimitory and are associated with historical, cultural, and horrifying moments in history. It's not about what you think is right, it's about what the other people around you do, it's a step toward maturity and respect. I respect your point but it's simply incorrect. One of these days you will meet someone who does get offended by a simple slip of the tongue, could be a relative, friend, boss, or member of your community and that outcome will not be pleasant for either party.

I actually do know the definition of each of the curse words I use, and refuse to use others because of what they mean, such as the N-Word, I don't care the colour of your skin or who you are or what context you're using this word in, it is simply an abomination and I refuse to even type it when talking about it in IM conversations let alone say it. Then there is the R-Word, while not technically a curse word I consider it one because of how many people use it in a derogatory manner, and never say it myself due to one of my friends who has very mild Autism telling me about some of the things that have been said and done to her because of her condition.

These are the only words I really have problems with, the rest I have read up on their history and the literal meaning, which in my book is the only thing that matters, the words may have bloody histories but if I take no offense to their literal meaning, I will use them. The N-Word being the exception.
