Greetings fellow Crafters of the Mine! And welcome to a blog, I know it has been AGES since I have done one, and now as I am about to hit a "Subscriber goal", I decided to make one about just that. Subscribers.
Now, most of us forget one massive detail when counting off subscriber goals or staring at the little number after posting something, hoping for it to jump up one more step. We forget that those numbers represent people. A living, breathing human has seen your stuff, thought "Hm, das pretty tho" and clicked that little subscribe button. I myself, while trying to, can't really see the number as people. I just can't. While not having that many subscribers on PMC (49 at the time of writing the blog) by many peoples standards, I know that 49 people is a LOT of humans. Just imagine trying to fit all of those people into your bedroom. Seems like a lot now, right?
It gets even worse on Youtube, where I have around 20 times more (1,141 at the time of writing the blog), it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to see each of those units as a person. Sure, I've spoken to them, I've asked their opinion on my stuff, I've made close friendships with more than a few of them and I read their comments with a heart full of gratitude, but I just can't fathom that that number represents a large group of people.
Do you want to know what recently made me realise that my 49 subscribers were a lot? Making the picture for this blog. All those pictures are my subscribers profile pcitures, even those little sprites and that Minecraft avatar. It was humbling, really. Having to copy and paste each one into the picture... Then have my computer crash halfway through and having to do it all over again.
I suppose my main point of this blog, is that don't take your numbers for granted. Because that number represents a person. A person that could possibly idolise you, or maybe the more realistic thing of just liking your skins / projects / blogs / mods. That one person has clicked a button, in order to see your work. As a group, we on the internet don't like seeing numbers as people. It gives us feels, and Tumblr will tell you that we don't like those.
I would like to thank every single one of my subscribers now, so here we go: Thank you Tesla_Block, Squirrelock101, _Rin_Kagamine_, Crimson The Zorua, pyroboy007, AnimeFanFTW, Minijames, xTheDevilx, BlazeblackMC07, Zombiekitty, Rainbowdrops, GeoSimmer476, icepuppyqueen1234, mine_lord, Madicat4, lovebugemy__official, Myra_Magnificent, Wysie, xxTheSkillixx_HDxx, LeStr11, ryanthegamer, King Zephyr, Alperen64, Flakko Dzarkan, rattystudios, awesomesteve, BaneKutler, That British Guy, SuperKing00, Deluxe Attacker, Piggy-Pig, shadowdragon48, ImaDannisaur, 7rgskm, ghrim vortex, flash77, DT98FILMS, LunaGeek1, IronBlades, Scrublord123, DocSlendy, victorfelshade, dynobrad626, zombieguy1013, 123456789123456789, -McCoy-, NormanTheMage, ThisKidPlaysMC and Shadowdragon49.

Thank you for reading, and I hope that my numbers enjoy me reading every one of them out, even though I know like ten of them are inactive. :3
