LegendarySi stands on a balcony at the end of a brazier-lined hallway. At the far end can be seen a glowing Menger sponge floating above a dais. It seems more official than before. I apologize for how dimly lit Silas is, but torchlight is torchlight.

ooh, I like this one.
For future dark renders, you can put a dim point light right behind/next to the subject to slightly light up the model's edge. That will separate it from the background and make it stand out more. That technique is called rim lighting and it can be used in dramatic scenes like this ine.

Si finally discovered the ancient temple he was looking for, and now stands before the Core of the ancient magic. He technically only has to walk down the hallway to seize it... Unless there are traps.
