Chapter 19
We went inside the library. Laby was not only angry, he was furious. So he gave Tryn to me so that I could carry her. He didn't want to her to explode.
"Everybody that is not Delta...Out of here, now!"
The villagers went outside.
"Hey, What's your problem dood?" Delta said
"Just sit down ok?"I said in a softer tone than Laby's.
"Ok..." said Delta as he sat down.
"Dude,we just want to know...WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED IN THE CAVE!!!" said the Captain.
"You left us alone, where did you go, and why did the midget weirdos wanted to know about my life?!" said Taryn as he scolded Delta.
"Ok..." Delta sighed and closed his eyes "How should I start?"
He opened his eyes slowly and started talking "I'm the only one here who remembers his past."
"That's nuts dood. I remember everything since we woke up in this land" said the Captain.
"And if what you are saying is true, why didn't you tell us?" I asked
"Well, I didn't know it either. It was until we went inside of the cave that I sarted remembering stuff." he took air and then continued "You see... We actually didn't know each other before we woke up. I was spawned and raised by the villager-looking midgets you met..."
"What the...." Laby interrupted, but Delta interrupted him too.
"...I know it's strange. Just don't freak out, ok?" he continued "I have that block magic you were told about. I've had it since I was born. My power was incredible. It was so incredible that I could give temporary life to solid blocks. Of course... They didn't know how to reason, so they were dumb and temporary. The villagers were so amazed, that they started analyzing me: My behaviour, my intelligence, and every breath I took. This made me really uncomfortable, so much that one day I decided to leave the mineshaft. It wasn't easy, as the midgets could track my magic as it moved. So I crafted a TNT block and placed it in a minecart, then I transfered all my power to the block
I noticed that this block was different from all the blocks I had given life to before, this one was sleeping, breathing....moving. It just needed someone or something to push it"
Taryn looked at the floor for one second and then said something in a relly low voice volume.
"That block was me..." She said and Delta nodded "You wanted o get rid of your powers by detonating me?"
"Please don't take this personal, I didn't know you after we woke up..."
"So then... What happened?" The Captain asked with curosity.
"I heard something in the distance. I don't know if it was the villagers or a random mob, but I thought it was to dangerous to stay there. So I left and started running towards a village, in which I lived and worked as any other villager." he took air "And I just remember that part.
There was a long silence in the room.
"Now, if you guys excuse me... I have to cook dinner with Hackovisk" he got up and got out of the library"
I decided to get out to. I was really confused and I didn't want to talk. But I remembered something.
"Delta had to tell me something" I started walking towards the dining room
Chapter 20
The night was as hot as the day. Summer days were arriving, which was unfortunate for me, as I really hated heat.
Everyone in the village was eating dinner there. I was about o talk to Delta, but my hunger bar stopped me. I started loosing hearts. "I'm starving" I thought, and I sat down besides the Captain.
Hachovisk came out of the kitchen with a couple of stacks of cooked chicken, cooked potatoes and cookies.
"So what did Delta tell you?" asked the Captain as he ate his cooked chicken.
"I don't..."  I lost another heart "I don't know" I quickly ate my cooked chicken too.
I ate my other stuff and went towards Delta.
"Hey, were you going to tell me something important?" He nodded and stood up quickly.
"Let's go outside, shall we?" I followed him. We were the only people outside.
"Ok" he started "Do you know James?"
"Oh yeah!" I remembered "James the Farmer. I help him all the time with the village crops"
Delta looked down sadly. I suddenly got worried.
"He got infected" he said in a low voice "A zombie bit him and infected him"
I was stunned
"Wha...Where is he now?" I asked
"He escaped"
"No, Impossible" I thought for a second and rememebered something I read in a book "I can bring him back to life! I just need a weakness potion and a golden apple..."
"Guabayas...."
"No Delta, I'm serious"
"Open your eyes Flakes! He's probably already dead or maybe he despawned"
I got mad for a second, but Delta was right.
"And what about the crops?"
"That's why I wanted to talk to you" I suddenly understood what he was about to say "I want you to take care of the crops. Also, I'll build a farm tomorrow, so maybe you could bring some animals and take care of them, will you?"
"But..."
"Excellent, thanks dude. You can start bringing mobs by tomorrow" He turned around and headed to the dining room.
"I was confused and tried, so I decided to go home.
I drank a potion of instant health, even though I had all my hearts, but it made me feel better. And it was also the best tasting potion I had ever made.
Chapter 21
"So...You'll be the new farmer in the village?" said Sandwich as we walked through the plains.
"Yeah, Delta is already building the farm" I answered.
"Oh...So that's what they're building" he looked around "And what are we supposed to be searching for..."
"Pigs!" I shouted as I saw the pink little creatures ahead of us.
Sandwich followed me and I took some wheat out of my inventory. There were three pigs.
"And now what do we do?" he asked. I gave him some wheat.
"Just keep it in your hand" I said and he did it. The pigs started following us, but they were quite slow.
"Man, if this pigs don't get quicker, we'll arrive to the village by tomorrow"
"Yeah, and I only have some carrots, cookies and my old fishing rod" I said
"Wait, didn't you tell me last day that we could drive pigs?" he asked
"Do you have a saddle?"
"No"
"Then no"
We continued walking. We travelled many chunks to find pigs, and the village was still far away. And worst of all: It was getting dark. It didn't take long until we heard  monsters spawning, so we started to move faster, but the pigs didn't.
"Come on buddies, faster!" I whispered t the pigs. Monsters spotted us, and we were running out of options. One spider charged at me, but I was able to inclose it in an ice box.
A herd of zombies started to surrounded us, but I noticed two of them were holding something on their hand.
"Saddles!" I said and Sandwich noticed them too.
We killed the zombies and put the saddles on the pigs. I put a carrot on my fishing rod.
"Oh man, I just have one of these"
"Oh!" he took something out of his inventory "I have a leash"
"You had a leash this whole time!"
"There's no time to discuss, now take the leash and let's go" I grabbed it and started riding my pig to the village. Everything was alright, until a monster blocked our way. The creature looked nothing like the monsters I had fought before. I couldn't even remember reading about it in a book. It was tall, black and had purple eyes. It screamed at us. I didn't have time to think, so I tried to inclose it with ice. It worked, but he disappeared from the box.
"Do you think it despawned?" asked the Captain. As soon as he finished his sentence, we heard another scream from behind, and there t was. The creature looked angrier than before. I threw and ice bean to the floor, and a stream of ice blocks rose from the ground and hit the monster. It died and cried, emitting a loud and annoying sound. It dropped a circular gem, and the Captain picked it up. We arrived to the village at midnight, and the pigs were safe and sound.
"Where have you been?" asked Delta as he lead us to the farm.
"Dying" Sandwich and I said at the same time. We left the pigs in the farm. Delta went to sleep. I looked at Sandwich.
"Would you like to drink something before going to sleep?"
"Only if it's not another death-leap potion"
I laughed and we went to my house.I brewed a regeneration potion.
"Where do you get the ingredients anyways?" he asked
"Hachovisk and Will give them to me, but they refuse to tell me where they got them"
I gave him his potion and we climbed to the roof. He noticed I was concerned.
"What's wrong bro? Did the pigs tell you something bad about your hair?"
"No" I laughed "I'm just tired"
"Long day, huh?"
"Kind of, and I still have to get cows, sheep, chickens, horses, cats, mooshrooms" I sighed "And I don't know why Delta wants wolves"
"Wait a second, what did you say?"
"Wolves, you know...If you punch one accidentaly..."
"No, no, no. Before that"
"Mooshrooms?"
"Yeah!"
"Oh they are cow-ish looking things. But I can only get those from a certain biome. I don't know if I'll be able to get those"
"Gee...Oh well, once you get a horse, life will get easier" he jumped from the roof and lost sose hearts, but he still had the regen potion "And a lot easier when you gather them all"
"Yeah, sure" He was about to go home, but I remembered something "Hey, what about the pearl?!"
"I guess I'll collect them or something" he went inside his home and closed the door. I also went home.
Chapter 22
"So...What are we gonna do again?" Laby asked as he yawned.
"We're going to kill some slimes" I said as I took my iron sword from my inventory. Laby did the same.
"Well" he said "I like the killing part, but what are we going to kill them for?"
"So that we can get slime balls and craft leashes"
"Oh, and that way you can collect animals for Delta's farm..."
"Oh my gosh, you are such a genious1" I said in a sarcastic tone. He looked at me falsley angry."And where are we going to find slimes?"
"They usually spawn in low ground, so we'll have to be patient"
We found the plains, and we waited for slimes to spawn.
"Oh well, I'm not going to wait for some living jelly to appear. I'm going home" Laby said and started walking towards the village. But all of a sudden, a big green cube jumped and landed in front of him.
"Slime!" I shouted and Laby started hitting it ith his golden sword. I went near him and helped him beat the creature.
"Good thing it's dead now" he said as the slime died. I smiled at him playfully. The dead slime slat into two smaller slimes. I jumped at them and started bounging on them.
"What the heck are you doing?" he asked.
"I'm having some fun. You should have some too." He smiled and started doing the same thing as me. We finally hit the slimes with our swords. They splat once again into eight small slimes. They couldn't even harm us.
"Aw, they are so cute" I picked one up "Maybe we could keep one for the farm..." The little slime suddenly started burning to death. It dropped a slime ball. "Hey!"
"What did we come from in the first place?"
"I guess you're right" We started slaining the slimes.
"Now..." Laby said as he picked the last slime ball "It's getting dark, so it would be a great idea to returt to the..."
"Spider!" I cried as I shot an ice beam at the creature. It got encased inside of an ice box.
"Run!" He shouted as he shot many monsters with fire charges. We started running towards the village, which was actually near.
We arrived and shut the village's iron door.
After taking breath, we all headed to our houses.
"Now I'm going to craft the leads, and tomorrow I'll get the horses" I whispered to myself.
Chapter 23
"So..." I said as Taryn looked at me "How's your relationship with Laby"
"He's a good boyfriend... But pretty immature"
"But no problems?"
"Nah"
I grabbed a cookie and ate it, i gave one ton Taryn too
"There!" I said as I pointed the plains "We just need to cross the lake" I just walked forward, and the lake's water turned into ice.
I saw some horses in the distance.
"Now, what do we do?"
"We just need to tame them" I said. Taryn looked confused "You know... try to ride them until they love you"
Taryn understood that explanation and smiled. I approached a horse and tried to ride him, but it ran away. I tried it with another horse and it ran away too.I tried it several times until there was one horse left.
"I don't get it" I looked at Taryn, and noticed I was holding her in my hand. "Taryn , may I place you on the ground for a second?"
She nodded and I placed her on the ground. I tried to ride the horse, and I was hoping for it to throw me off, but it didn't. I placed a saddle on it.
"Aww...I think he likes you" said Taryn.
I turned around to look at the horse. It had white patches and had a Chestnut body.
"What should his name be?" Taryn asked. I thought hor a second.
"Cocoa" I said as I pat my new horse.
"We need to get another one" I said and Taryn started looking around.
"There! In the mountain" Taryn said as she saw a whie horse on the top of the mountain. I grabbed her and started riding Cocoa. The horse moved swiftly as we climbed the mountain.
When we finally arrived, I tried to ride the white horse, but it threw me off. I fell down and hit myself, but I had a healing potion in my inventory, so I drank it.
"Be careful!" Taryn cried as I ran fearfully to where the horse was. I tried to ride it again, but it threw me off once again. I tried so many times, that I gave up.
I looked into the distance, and saw the village, but i noticed something even further way. I set my render distance to far and noticed that the village was near a beach.
"Hey I didn't know there was a beach there"
Taryn noticed it too.
"Oh yeah... Maybe our trips are never to the north"
"We should tell Delta"
"No!" Taryn said immediately "Let's enjoy it for a couple of weeks, and then he can build whatever he wants there"
I nodded.
"But we should at least tell Sandwich and Laby"
"Yeah..."
I noticed that the sun was setting.
"Come on, let's go before it gets dark" I said
"But, what about the white horse?"
"I brought some leads, we can tame him in the village"
I put Taryn on top of the white horse, and I put a leash on it. I got on top of my new horse also. We headed towards the village and arrived just as the sun set. We heard some fireworks.
"A new building?" Taryn asked as she saw the colors burst in the air.
We went to see what was happening, and we noticed Delta and his men had built a horse stable near the farm.
"There you are!" said Delta as he saw us.
"You're always a step ahead of us, aren't you?" I said and Delta grinned.
"The white one is not tamed..."
"Snowball" Taryn interrupted me. I liked the name she had put to the horse.
"Well...Snowball...is not tamed" I said
"What about the chestnut horse" Delta asked
"Cocoa?"
"Whatever, is he tamed?"
"Yes"
"Excelent! What do we need to breed them?"
"Golden apples or carrots" I asked, and his skin went pale.
"We don't have enough gold" Delta said "We haven't gone mining since we arrived to the village" he went to talk to the priest.
"I know where this is going" I said to Taryn.
"Yeah" she said "We'll have a new mine by tomorrow"
I left the horses at the stable, and then left Taryn at her house.
"Good night" she said.
"Good night" I said and Laby came to recieve her girl "Bye dood"
"Bye bro" he said and yawned.
I went home.
