Endermites are hostile and the second smallest mob in minecraft.

Endermites has a 5% chance of spawning where a thrown ender pearl lands. They drop 3 experience orbs upon death if it was killed by a player or a wolf.

if a player is in a 16 block radius from the endermite the endermite will furiously go after the player. they also have the power to call in the area being hit.

Endermites are proggrammed to despawn in 2 minutes regardless of how close a player is from the endermite BUT the only exception is if the endermite is named with a name tag which will make it so that it never despawns.

Endermites will suffocate in soul sand because of how small the mob is.

Enderman will attempt to kill endermites, provided they were spawned from ender pearls and there is no nearby player in Survival or Adventure mode.
