Hello everyone and Welcome back to Episode 5 of Redstone Tutorial! Now Today, we are going to be covering the amazing jeb door! This door is not created by Jeb (Jens Bergensten) himself. He Discovered this design on the internet when pistons were first introduced into the game. The Design has changed dramatically over the time but the basic idea of is still the same. The Door is hidden from view when closed and sits flush with a wall . When activated, It slides accros to reveal a sercet passageway.
The items needed to complete this door is:
  • Any Building Block (recommended 32+)
  • 12 Sticky Pistons
  • Redstone (recommended 64+)
  • 2 repeaters
  • 1 Lever

1. Find a location for your door make a pathway for your door and add 4 pistons as shown

undefined

2. Place 2 more pistons as shown below

undefined

3. Now do the same thing on the opposite side:

undefined

4. put your choice of building blocks as shown

undefined

5. Place blocs above the pistons
undefined

6. Connect those 2 line things so that there is a line of blocks going over the hallway, then add the redstone EXACTLY as shown (MUST leave the gaps)
undefined

7. Place repaeters on the gaps and put it to atleast 2 ticks delay (2 or more but not 1) and also look at the position of the repeaters, it is a must that it is like that
undefined

8. Place a lever and see if the blocks get pushed and there is no building block of your choice visible from up front that is part of the hallway (temporary)
undefined

9. it should look sorta like this (i added the diorite to mark the door, the door is the stone bricks inside the diorite blocks
undefined

9.1. here is how it looks when it is open
undefined

10. try and do something like this:
undefined

10.1. add in the roof and then it should look like this from inside
undefined

11. place the lever at your chosen destination and then hook it up to some redstone which leads to the door (the redstone should power the door as shown if powers from any other direction it wont work only from middle (also add repeaters in  case the lever is too far away)
undefined

The delay on the repeaters only has to be 2 ticks.
