CHAPTER 1:the portal

He mined,hoping to find enough coal and iron to buy some food.he felt exhausted from the pain in his arms every time he slammed his pickaxe on the hard stone.sweat ran down his face as the heat from a nearby lava pool hugged his face.his name is mark.Mark was not one when it came to luck,and was not one when it came to wealth,but if there was anything he was good at,it was mining.he spent most of his time in a cave,trying to get enough ores to feed his mouth,as he slipped by on a diet of raw chicken and melons,but this story is not about what happen to mark in his past,it`s what happen to him that day he found the portal.he mined all the way to bedrock,when he saw a strange hole in the ground."what the?"mark said,dazzled by amazement of his discovery.it was all dark with few specks of light here and there.mark felt a strange sense as the hair on his neck stood up."who`s there!?!"he yelled,holding back fear of the dark caverns.he then realized it was just the wind and continued to stare into the dark portal-like hole.it was when he looked a little too close when it happened.it happened so fast he did not have time to realize what just happen,it just happen.he fell in.falling into the hole he landed onto a strange rock,his back hurt....he opened his eyes at the sight of a person in the distance...
