Once i do the user pefrence settings i try click on new but my file doesnt show up when i search it. can you make the intsructions for the that bit a bit more clear because i really want a rendered image for my terraforming

don't open a new file, Click on user prefferances and you will see a busy screen. If you look to the left there is a search bar, like I showed in the image, search obj in that bar and find the wavefront obj file like I did and tick it. This is just to make sure it allows it as it may already be there.

*Also make sure you are in the "Addons" section or it won't show up*

Thanks it was a pain as I had 17 images that I had to separately upload to imgur and then link in here, but thanks for checking it out and do have a go. It really isn't as hard as people make out, and if you like it, the Diamond button is up top. ;) Thanks

xD yeah I had a comparable problem, I made a massive picture which caused lag and caused that my laptop crashed twice, when it was finally done it was too big for imageshack so I had to resize it and I made it 1/2 x its original size but also that was too big and then I resized that again so I ended up with 1/4 of the original size which still was to big but when I tried to resize that it became pixelated so I figured I had to cut the 1/4 x version into pieces and then paste the pieces in the blog xD

Also, looking at yours I thought I would give some tips. If you raise the sun a bit more and increase the brightness it will amplify the shadows a bit, also the sky is a strong blue, if you use a lighter paper sky with a slightly darker blend sky then it will produce a great effect. Also with the sun, you have a large shadow over the edge of the cliff thing, if you drag it to the right of where that image is, it will protrude a nice shadow accross the entire image. :)

Nice Work, It's a hell of a lot better than the default screenshots with the GUI open. With all programs you get to have a bit of Leeway and you improve over time, thanks for checking this out and good luck. ;)
