And this is my explanation of /testfor command and everything you need to know
(note first:if my english is bad..sorry im an filipino..english is not my main)
command: /testfor @(a,e,etc..)[r=(BLOCKRADIUS)]
What is the /testfor command?
Ans:it is a command used for making another command activate in a specific block radius..or in other words! no more pressure plate to activate command! (Lol wtf mind stop!)
Where to use it?
Ans:If you are making advanced things like you dont want to have pressure plate to activate something and so you made this..but for me this is best for scary maps(idc about ur opinion lol)because im making a scary map RIGHT NOW (Watch out dudes it will come out ~<3)
How to make a activating /testfor command to activate another command
1st:Type the command and place a redstone torch next to it
2nd:place a repeater( repeat...repeat..)
3rd:make an on and off circuit
4th:place a comparator facing outside the command block
for you to understand it more look at the picture
the command i typed there is /testfor @p[r=4] which means a 4 block radius..the stonebrick is the signal that it is the 4th block and when you step on it,it activates the comparator
And boom! your done!if you didnt followed the steps correctly then guess what your command wont work!
