Fake PMC "Representatives"

I had recently saw a post about a "PMC Representative" going on to someones server and saying that they needed to test their plugins.

Actually, I've seen this happen in a server I had played on about a month ago.

Why do people do this you ask? To try and trick other people in believing that they are important in hopes of becoming Ops. Just another trick by many trolls/griefers who either just want to play with the plugins and or grief and destroy the whole server.

The Moderators on PMC will never go on any server and ask to be Opped. They are just like ordinary gamers when they get into Minecraft. They play the servers just like everyone else. These type of people that are trying to forge themselves as Moderators should never be believed and should be simply ignored. What you can also do is see their names on Minecraft, look them up here, if they have an account I'm sure a Moderator or Cyprezz will have a talk with them about forging that you are somebody else.

This topic reflects back to my Mod/Admin blog in a way that people are so hungry to become an Op on a server that they will do anything. This really makes the Minecraft community quite ugly. Ops are not meant to have "fun" and play around with plugins. They are just like the Moderators of PMC, they make sure the site is in order, everyone is having a great time and make sure no one breaks the rules. People think that becoming an Op means you can spawn yourself stuff and use nifty plugins.

I really hate seeing this whenever I'm in a server. Everyone should just play the server how it is meant to be played, legit and without the use of plugins. The Minecraft community has just gotten much worse with all this forging and trying to become an Op in the most nastiest ways.

I know there isn't much of ways to stop these people but hopefully if this reaches many people's minds, less people will do this. Thank you for your time.
