Whoa, now HERE's a popular minigame---created by the legendary Hypixel, the Walls has been re-created in many, many ways ever since---lucky block Walls, the Bridges (A Mineplex variant) and mega Walls, for instance. Apart from simply being a LOT of fun, the Walls is also a highly strategic game. Thus, I came up with a couple of strategies for kickin' butt when the walls come tumblin' down.

If you're a REEEALLY good PVP'er:

Dig up as many resources as possible, saving your diamonds for tools and your gold for precious golden apples (if there are trees nearby). Then, when the walls fall down, go on the lookout for players who are currently still working on mining up precious ores. Sneaking up on them and finishing them off is the best way to gain some kills and not get injured in the process, enabling you to save your stuff for taking down the other pro's.

If you're not really that good at PVP'ing:

Stick with your teammates, and prioritise your resources for ranged attacks rather than melee weaponary. Also, rather than rush in for a few kills, have the pro's kill themselves off with their fighting while you keep a bit of distance away from 'em. With your bow and arrows, finish off the remaining players who have killed off their opponents but gotten themselves gravely injured in the process. Sneaking up on players in dense locations is also a pretty good idea as they won't be able to retaliate with ease and will have taken quite a bit of damage before managing to strike back.
