Hey Guys! Skul here with another Minecraft Tutorial. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to use a Freeze Spell in Minecraft. (This is commonly used in adventure maps.)
1. You are going to need command blocks for this system. If you don't know how to get one, Hit 't' and type /give yourusername 137
This will give you a Command Block. ID 137
2. Set up a clock. Not a slow clock, but one that goes on and off every tick. Like using a Redstone Block and putting a comparator in front of it followed by a repeater, which will activate a straight line. Then, Make another line from the same block with a simple clock that will work but at the fastest setting. Like this.
O = Redstone
I I = Repeater
O I I O
I I I I Set the repeater in the Top Middle to one tick delay. (One Right Click) Then do the same for
O I I O the next one in line. DO NOT DO THIS FOR ANY OTHER REPEATERS.
3. Pistons. This part is hard to explain, so screenshot it is. Take a look.
Is this starting to clear up? Good. See the Command Block in the top right corner? That command block should say:
/tp @p thecoordinatesyouwantthemtobefrozenat
/tp will, duh, teleport.
@p does this to the nearest player.
Now, the last step. The Command Block in the bottom right corner should say:
/gamerule commandBlockOutput false
This will stop the command block from spamming messages saying you successfully teleported.
That's it! All you have to do now is place a repeater in front of the comparator on the left of the Redstone Block to activate it!
