Gaining Server Popularity

Hey guys. I have been wondering for a while if there is a way to gain popularity for my server. I bump it everyday and get a few new guys but they never really stay. If anyone can sucessfully boost my servers popularity with a lot of new loyals i would be grateful and rewarding. Tell me about good sites, techniques, spawn ideas, and all kinds of other stuff that could help me out. If anyone knows of a fast way to get popularity please tell me.
