Hello, I am DragonBuilderz, but my username in Minecraft is actually 6ethan6. Now, I know what you're thinking. Why am I on this stupid blog about some guy I've never heard of? For all of you who dont know me, this is to get my story out there.
I started playing Minecraft when it was in 1.3 beta version, so I dont even remember when that came out. But anyways, I was a newb just like everyone else when they started, asking things like "How do you cobblestone?" or "What are creepers?". My first impression of a creeper was a green, speckled, walking !*$@, exploding me every time I wanted to pet it. I quickly progressed, hearing of great names in Minecraft like, Notch and Jeb, and I started watching the Yogscast and realized how big in depth and width what you can do relating to Minecraft. It just surprised me.
I broke of from that era, learning redstone, and making skins for my own personal use, (or the Skindex) but suddenly realized and thought to myself, how do all of these big names in Minecraft, not the creators and producers of the game but the ones who build all of these massive towers and the amazing skins and awesome survival maps, so I was playing with my friends one day, Rivatex (Ab25) and rhysescup, when I saw him posting his skin on "Planet Minecraft". I asked him if you could post more than skins, have more than just a small comunity and profile. He said yes.
My Minecraft experience was changed for life, really. Posting my first thing which was the my own edition of a Hunger Games map, really no experience in anything really, but taking a risk with redstone and architecture. Even tera-forming which I learned about two months ago. For me it was great, getting my first map out there as a "PMC"er. But people still didn't know me. So, looking for hope, I started throwing redstone projects out there, I got my first subscriber. That was a break through because it told me that my name was actually getting out there. His name was zachwebs, and the name sounded really familiar for some strange reason, but I was just happy to have a subscriber.
I have progressed quickly, now having 5 subscribers, making pretty good redstone machines and contraptions, developing my skinning and shading parts.
I even got into FreshMiners, a very popular Russian build team, introduced to me by Rivatex (Ab25), whom is also in it. I am their redstoner, which makes me very happy, but it is very hard to do a lot of things with them on their server because they are on different time zone, so when I wake up in the morning, they have just finished dinner. But it is a great experience on a build team especially a popular and good one.
So I hope this story has told you little bit about my Minecraft life and got to tell who I am and I hope that a lot of people look at this blog and agree with me and maybe even follow me here on PMC. So thank you for getting to know me and hopefully I can get my name out there in the realm of PMC and Minecraft! :)
