How to play on both 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 servers!

Follow these 5 easy steps!

Step 1:

Open the launcher, and click on "New profile" in the "Profile Selection"

Step 2:

Name the new profile whatever you want. I'll call mine 1.6.4 client
Under "Use version" pick release 1.6.4

Step 3:
Click "Save Profile"

Step 4:
Select the profile in the "Profile Selection"

Step 5:
Click play!

Now you can play on 1.6.4 servers, and 1.7.2 servers! Have fun!

Yea should be possible, just replace the minecraft.jar after you logged in
