Silently Erikel slinked through the trees never losing sight of his prey. The deer kept walking. Trip. Trap. Trip. Trap. It was starting to annoy Erikel but being a hunter teaches you patience. 2 hours he spent tracking the deer. 2 hours he spent following it. 2 hours that would be worth it when he got enough food to feed him for a week! Finally the deer came to a slow stop near a stream. He saw his chance. Quietly he pulled his bow Nevermiss from the strap that held it to his back. After notching an arrow onto his bow he pulled back and the world turned slow around him... Falling leaves seemed to stop in midair, falling dew stopped in midair and only 2 things existed in the world for Erikel. Him and his prey. He let go of the string. 1 second and THUNK! It was over. Pleased Erikel cautiously moved towards his dinner. Pulling one of his daggers from his belt , he started skinning the animal. Just as he was finishing something moved out of the corner of his eye. His whole body tensed! Silence. But then he saw a blur in his vision. He smiled. A human using some kind of magic to cloak themselves. Luckily years of hunting had sharpened his senses so he could just about see the human. But the person was not heading towards them it was going in the opposite direction. Erikel assumed the person had not seen him yet. Erikel had lived in isolation most of his life in a cottage hidden in the middle of the forest so other people interested him. Curiously he followed the stranger...

Kasey was having a normal boring day. For almost the whole day from 8:00am to 9:00pm he had been standing guard over the castle portucullis. Being one of the most devoted soldiers to King George he was 1 of the 10 elite royal guard whose duty was to guard the king with their life! From the age of 7 Kasey had devoted his entire life to becoming 1 of the elite royal guards and being sent on quests to fight great monsters and beasts in the name of the king! Although he had achieved his dream at the age of 16 being the youngest elite royal guard he was dissapointed. Peace had fell upon the kingdom of Minetopia for a year and a zombie outside the castle was a crime wave. Kasey felt his unmatched sword skills going to waste but he was loyal to the king and guarded the castle every day. Another hour and he would be off his shift. A quick routine check around the castle and some rest and back to the same boring guarding as yesterday. Unfortunately patience was not Kaseys strong point and it was being pushed to the limit. Another day and Kasey felt he would burst from boredom. He was begginning to think this was a test of patience from the king and they just were not telling him about any monsters or criminals to fight. Just as his shift was coming into its last 5 minutes a squire burst through the door into the castle! "EMERGENCY!!!! EMERGENCY!!!!" "The kings crown is being stolen!!!!" Most of the other knights were shocked but a grin fell onto Kaseys face. "FINALLY SOME ACTION!!" he shouted excitedly as he raced into the castle.

Kirsty was glimpsing into the future in her cauldron when a shocking scene appeared before her! Recoiling in horror she quickly ran to get her staff and magic bag then head to the castle to warn the king. Kirsty was a mage cleric who used to study at the Minetopia university of magic. However when she was 15 she left the University because she was banned for using forbidden and dangerous spells on unwilling subjects... Now she was 16 she lived in a comfy and suitable cave home she had used magic on to change to her liking. Most of her time she spent conducting experiments in her lab and teting her magic skills but occasionally the king payed her to look into the future in her magic cauldron like she had today. Usually nothing much appeared except a peaceful kingdom completely untouched by evil. But today was different. After gathering the stuff she needed she used her summoning stone to summon a trusty steed she named Thunder and started riding towards the castle on him. Hopefully she would not be too late as Thunder was one of the fastest horses in the kingdom. But if she did'nt... Kirsty tried not to think about it. From what the vision told her it would happen very soon. And if that happened the whole Minecraft world would change forever...

Grace sneaked as athletic as a cat into the castle. Thanks to her study as a rogue under the name of her father who was a rogue thief she had gained the amazing ability to turn invisible! However even though she was a master in the art of stealth it had not come easy. For 10 long years from the age of 6 she had practiced her stealth skills which were handed down from her father. She could jump 3 metres (blocks) , run faster than a cheetah , and sneak like a panther in the dark searching for its prey. Since then Grace had carried out several robberies and heists and had gained a fortune fit for a king! Speaking of kings , today she was going to pull of a stunt that would allow her to live the rest of her life rich and powerful never having to do any work again. She was planning to steal the kings crown. The mighty , expensive crown was such a treasure it was never worn , just kept as a kind of trophy to show just how powerful the kingdom had become! Even the cheapest relic studiers estimated it's total worth to around 10,000 gold from all the jewels embedded into its golden plate. Though Grace was a mean , selfish thief she tried not to hurt anyone on her raids. However just in case , 2 very powerful daggers she had inherited from her father when he died just under a year ago could be used to "dispose" of witnesses. Grace was coming very close too the heavily guarded treasury in which the crown lay. Two guards stood in front of a reinforced iron vault door. Quick as lightning she grabbed the 2 guards and bashed their heads together knocking them out! She then turned the valve used to open the vault and feasted her eyes on the king's crown... just as a squire saw her grab the crown and ran outside to warn the elite royal guard!

Even though he could not turn invisible his sneaking skills were almost unmatched and he got past most of the guards without any trouble at all. Just as he entered the room with the vault inside he saw a flicker of a girl grab 2 guards and bash their heads together. This interested Erikel as although he had seen humans fight monster's he had never seen humans fight each other. Erikel kept watching waiting to see what would happen next. The girl turned a wheel on a seemingly unpassable iron wall and it opened. "Must be some kind of opening mechanism." he thought. As she pushed the door back he set his eyes on an astounding sight! Treasure everywhere! Gold,diamond,emerald,lapis. You named it , it was there. But the main piece of treasure that stood out was a beautifally carved gold crown with every type of jewel you could think of embedded into it. He saw the girl again as she disabled her cloak and picked up the crown staring in awe. Tap! Erikel turned to see a man dressed in weird clothes run off down the corridor shouting "HURRY TO THE VAULT , THE CROWN IS BEING STOLEN!!!" Erikel put the pieces together and realised the crown was owned by someone else ,most likely the king, and the girl was stealing it. He may have not been completely lawful but he thought stealing such a grand treasure was wrong. Deciding to distract the girl and put the crown back in its original place Erikel notched an arrow to his bow.

Kasey bounded through the corridors of the castle eager to make a name for himself by capturing or killing the robber! "OUT OF MY WAY , I NEED TO SAVE THE CROWN"!!!! Kasey shouted madly at the staff of the castle. Eventually after 2 minutes of frantically rushing through the castle Kasey got to the vault. Inside was a female robber quickly shoving the crown into a bag while looking around warily. But the strange thing was she was not looking at the entrance she was looking all over the vault as if someone else was in there with her Pushing the thought out of his mind Kasey shouted "OIIII PUT THAT BACK IN THE NAME OF THE KING!!!" The girl mumbled a curse under her breath but she did not put the crown back. Just as Kasey was about too issue another warning a voice from inside the vault said "Do not worry swordsman I will handle this." The girl looked just as shocked as Kasey. Kasey did the only thing he thought suitable , he pulled the diamond sword all elite royal guards had out of it's sheath and said "Show yourself". Even though Kasey was worried he was determined not to fail the king. A reply came soon after. "Why do you fret swordsman? I am not your enemy , I am trying to help you out. Should you not be showing gratitude?" Kasey was annoyed at being talked to so leisurely with his rank and he wanted to save the crown himself to prove his loyalty to the king. Just as he was about to answer an arrow was shot from somewhere in the vault and hit the girl right in the knee making her drop the crown and fall too the ground. "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!?!" both Kasey and the girl asked. " I am your friendly neighbour , the Elf ranger Erikel of Avalonia forest." He said calmly stepping out of the shadows...

Kirsty ran ,panting, into the castle. "Stop by order of the king!" a knight said raising his sword. "Identify yourself." " My name is Kirsty , the kings personal mage." she replied frantically. "He asked me too look into the future to check if anything bad happened and I have bad news." The knight did not move his sword. "Sorry but I am under strict orders not to let anyone in or out of the castle as the king's crown is being stolen." "I do'nt have time for this." Kirsty mumbled. "Forgive me." She cast a quick spell which turned the knight into ice. Kirsty felt bad but there was no time to waste. Grabbing a speed and invisibilty potion out of her bag , she started running down the corridor. Quickly she drank the 2 potions which made her invisible and as speedy as a leopard. After 5 minutes of running down hallways she found the king in his throne room just as the 2 potions ran out. Alert the kings bodyguards went to grab their swords but the king halted them. "Do not worry it is just Kirsty." he said. "Tell me , what has troubled you so much. You look like you have run a marathon and your face looks as distraught as Herobrines". Kirsty answered his question with a very worrying answer. " Speaking of Herobrine , I saw him in the cauldron watching the kingdom burn to the ground..."

Grace was worried. Everything was going perfect until Erikel showed up. She was literally a cloak away from a rich and free life and this guy showed up out of the blue. The arrow in her knee had not gone in too deep but it hurt when she touched it. But right now she could'nt worry about that. She had to find a way to escape and fast! Judging by the fact that the elf had followed her here meant that he could see through her cloak which was her main way of getting out of trouble. That left her agility ,speed daggers and cunning to help her escape. Grace thought speed was her best bet because even though Erikel had proved to be a skilled archer he surely could not shoot her when she was running at 60 miles an hour!? And it would surely be impossible if she distracted Erikel first so he least expected it! "Goddam you Erikel you are my worst enemy but I must ask how can you see through my cloak?" Grace said trying to sound admiring. Erikel replied "Well I can not share my secret with you , but you seem like a formidable enemy so I will add you too my enemies list , whats your name?" Grace was getting very angry at his cockiness. "Well I would love to tell you but I've got to go bye!" Just as she got close to the exit she felt a sharp pain in her other knee. An arrow was lodged in it. "How?" she said as she gritted her teeth trying to ignore the pain. " Well I would love to tell you but you know what they say: I used to be an adventurer like you until I took an arrow too the knee." "It does have some truth too it but I used normal arrows on you , another move and I will use a more powerful one that WILL bust through your knee and put you out of buissness!" That was his reply.

Kirsty was fighting for not just her life but everyone around her's life. Frantically she throwed potions like a madwoman spouting nonsense. But it was not enough. The knights were dropping like fies and if she did not do something soon she would join them. Luckily though she had one ace up her sleeve. A potion that was dangerous for the user and the people they attacked , so Kirsty only used it in the most dire of situations. Grabbing the potion from her bag she prepared to throw it in too a big group of knights. Just then a witch saw her potion and quickly snatched it off her and gulped down the contents. "Oh crap." Kirsty said to herself as she watched the witch transform into a giant behemoth with claws like knifes and a beak that could crush walls. Kirsty felt bad for making the knights jobs a lot harder so she surrounded herself and the abomination with an arena-like force field. Quickly she pulled her staff from her back and got ready to fight. Suddenly the giant beast let out a startling screech as it grew wings! The screech was so loud it had burst Kirstys eardrum and she covered her ears in pain. Unfortunately the monster took its chance and flew towards Kirsty. Even though Kirsty could see the monster she knew she had nowhere near enough time too dodge it. She braced herself as the eagle picked her up , smashed through the force field and flew high into the sky.

Grace was just sneaking past the gate of the castle when she saw it. A monsterous , collosal army of mobs. Grace cursed. She did'nt know where the army ended but her chances did not look good. She would have too stay in the castle until the army either took over the castle or the knights repelled them which did'nt seem very likely. However she saw this as a good opportunity as well. If that annoying elf she had met earlier was distracted by the swarm of mobs then that would be a perfect opportunity for revenge. Cautiously she looked down at a horrifying sight. Knights were dropping like they had the black plague , a mage seemed to be fighting some sort of eagle-witch hybrid which she knew was going to give her nightmares and suddenly she saw the elf. Frantically he fired arrow after arrow into the mob horde but to no avail. Happily she started heading towards her prey. Kasey came over too the window and looked down in shock and awe. A collosal army of thousands of zombies,skeletons,creeper,spiders and even a few mobs from the nether like blazes was less than 150 blocks from the castle!! The army was so big , Kasey could not see where it ended. Erikel , Kirsty and the king all looked down with the same expression of terror carved into their face. Erikel suddenly said "Ok , if we are going to evacuate all the citizens we need a plan. "I will provide sniper support from the walls of the castle , Kasey you go join the other knights and keep the mobs from entering the gate and Kirsty , grab all the potions and spellbooks you have and support the front line." Kasey was furious that Erikel was taking charge and answered with "Who put you in charge?" The king and Kirsty both said "Who cares there is no time and that's a good a plan as any!!!" "Yes my king." Kasey said loyally. Everyone got into their positions to give the king the time he needed too evacuate all the citizens. Kasey stood ready to fight through the swarm of mobs , his sword in his hand. Then suddenly all hell broke lose. Knights were dying left and right. Kasey just slashed through the endless sea of mobs. Kirsty madly throwed potions everywhere while simultaniously casting buffs on the knights while Erikel shot rapid fire arrows into the crowd of mobs. But it still was not enough , the army was breaking through. "This is the end." Kasey thought to himself.
Kasey came over too the window and looked down in shock and awe. A collosal army of thousands of zombies,skeletons,creeper,spiders and even a few mobs from the nether like blazes was less than 150 blocks from the castle!! The army was so big , Kasey could not see where it ended. Erikel , Kirsty and the king all looked down with the same expression of terror carved into their face. Kirsty was fighting for not just her life but everyone around her's life. Frantically she throwed potions like a madwoman spouting nonsense. But it was not enough. The knights were dropping like fies and if she did not do something soon she would join them. Luckily though she had one ace up her sleeve. A potion that was dangerous for the user and the people they attacked , so Kirsty only used it in the most dire of situations. Grabbing the potion from her bag she prepared to throw it in too a big group of knights. Just then a witch saw her potion and quickly snatched it off her and gulped down the contents. "Oh crap." Kirsty said to herself as she watched the witch transform into a giant behemoth with claws like knifes and a beak that could crush walls. Kirsty felt bad for making the knights jobs a lot harder so she surrounded herself and the abomination with an arena-like force field. Quickly she pulled her staff from her back and got ready to fight. Suddenly the giant beast let out a startling screech as it grew wings! The screech was so loud it had burst Kirstys eardrum and she covered her ears in pain. Unfortunately the monster took its chance and flew towards Kirsty. Even though Kirsty could see the monster she knew she had nowhere near enough time too dodge it. She braced herself as the eagle picked her up , smashed through the force field and flew high into the sky.

Grace was just sneaking past the gate of the castle when she saw it. A monsterous , collosal army of mobs. Grace cursed. She did'nt know where the army ended but her chances did not look good. She would have too stay in the castle until the army either took over the castle or the knights repelled them which did'nt seem very likely. However she saw this as a good opportunity as well. If that annoying elf she had met earlier was distracted by the swarm of mobs then that would be a perfect opportunity for revenge. Making up her mind she slinked into the shadows in one of the towers and waited as patiently as a snake. Suddenly he heard a terrifying war cry as both sides started clashing. Cautiously she looked down at a horrifying sight. Knights were dropping like they had the black plague , a mage seemed to be fighting some sort of eagle-witch hybrid which she knew was going to give her nightmares and suddenly she saw the elf. Frantically he fired arrow after arrow into the mob horde but to no avail. Happily she started heading towards her prey. "Im coming for you Erikel." she said anticipating the thrill the kill would give her.

Erikel fired arrow after arrow like a frustrated hornet trying to beat a hulking bear. As much arrows as he shot Erikel never knew it was going to be enough. They would not be able to defend the castle so Erikel hoped that while he was holding the horde back he woul provide the frightened villagers with enough time to escape. Though he knew he had to help the villagers he also knew that if he did not escape soon he would be trapped like a rat. While he was thinking about this he was too distracted too notice the cloaked rogue coming closer and closer too him. At the last second Erikel's ears pricked upas he heard a blade being drawn. As quick as a flash he pulled his own blade out and blocked the blow. Both of them grabbed their second dagger as well and both clashed in midair just like the first. As they struggled against each other Erikel said " Why are you doing this? I know you want revenge but were in the middle of a warzone and unless we work together we wo'nt escape with our lives!" Grace answered hostiley "I will survive if you die now but I will not survive if I live with the disgrace of not finishing you!" Both furious fighters clashed each with equal power. Blow after blow hit the others dagger but none of them were getting worn out. Erikel knew in his mind that however this ended both of them were going to die.

Kasey had entered a state between consciousness and the dream world. While he was hacking through the endless wave he also had lots of thoughts floating around in his head. Will I survive? Is this the end of the kingdom? Will the villagers escape in time? Whats that menacing object coming down towards me? Wait...WHAT!! At the last second Kaey brought up his shield and blocked a blow from a collosal creature. Daring a look up he lay his eyes upon a massive beast! It looked like an iron golem but had midnight black corrupt veins flowing though it. It was like a giant but ten times taller. And the eyes... they were completeky blank! A deep boom came from his mouth. It sounded like it was lauging at him... No it WAS laughing at him. "HA HA HA" it said in a menacing voice. Kasey just stared in horror. " I know i'm scary but I did not know I was THIS scary!" it said mocking him. "Well do not worry you will not be able to see me soon." Kasey did not like the sound of that. "Their is no way you can cut through my steel body so when I defeat you you will get blank eyes like my master then you will get used to the new horror around you!" Kasey could not move from sheer terror while a chunky powerful hand fell towards him...

Kirsty was having the worst day of her life. She had saw the horrifying future lived it and was now being attacked by a giant crazy bird/witch hybrid. Kirsty almost vomited trying to climb the leg but she made it onto the body. "Now what do I do?" She thought to herself. "I ca'nt use my magic as it will take out me too and I do'nt have any other weapons to use." The eagle suddenly started turning trying to shaker her off! Screaming Kirsty grabbed one of the feathers and held on for dear life. Dizzily Kirsty tried to collect her thoughts but it was like trying to catch a fly in a swarm of wasps.She needed to think of a plan and soon otherwise she would pass out and fall to her death. An idea came to her head. Kirsty had some iron in her backpack which she spread about the wings attaching them to the beast with magic. Angrily the monster tried to shake her and the iron off but she just about managed to hold on. Eventually she placed enough iron on the wings which made it harder for it to wings and it started falling towards the ground slowly picking up speed. The monster frantically tried to keep flapping but it could not do it fast enough. Kirsty tried to stay conscious as she took a jumping potion. Just as the beaked beast was about to reach the ground she jumped off...
