Recently, I've become more and more fascinated by Minecraft; between looking up videos regarding mob fighting techniques, checking out inspirations online for my uncompleted steampunk village, and browsing the web for various methods to use while diamond-searching, I've found glimpses of the controversial Herobrine.
I love legends just as much as the next guy, but I feel as though I may be excessively enthusiastic about myths. If you were to take a peek at my computer's history, you'll definitely see your fair share of creepypasta-related websites. Scary stories usually make for the most interesting tales, but that's my opinion-- in fact, I wish I were capable of writing narratives that would cause my audience to wet their undergarments out of fear. Alas, I've accepted my lack of talent and revert to admiring others' twisted works.
Now before I get too off topic, let me attempt to re-rail my derailment: Herobrine is downright fascinating.
From his appearance-- those soulless, glowing eyes-- to his stalking tendencies, this ghostly figure could easily cause any player to adopt a sense of paranoia while exploring their world. Part of me really wants to believe he is out there, for if the legends were validated, his existence would certainly make singleplayer much more gripping, to say the least; however, his origins are not something that I would necessarily want to be true. Obviously, no one would wish death of a family member upon someone, I know I wouldn't!
Alright, I suppose it's about time I wrap this 'blog' up.
I'm going to be honest, I adore writing stories, but as I've mentioned before, I'm pathetic when it comes to horror. In addition to writing, I like challenges-- I want to try my hand at a Herobrine-themed series about my Minecraft character, Runi. I was hoping that you folks could point me in the right direction! In the comments below, feel free to offer suggestions as to what the plot could entail, Herobrine facts, and anything else that you see fit to include (when I say anything, I mean anything-- I'm not picky)! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you share my intrigue!
