As Kyla pointed, the first few drops of rain dropped from the rapidly darkening sky. A great wind forced the map out of Pinky's hand, and would have been lost forever had Kyla not suddenly jumped 7 feet in the air to catch it. The droplets turned to crashing waves, splashing through the forest. Everybody sprinted towards a willow tree about a quater of a mile ahead. Em, Tango, Pinky, Flo and Matt were all remarkable fast, but Kyla...
She was so amazingly fast it was unhuman, reaching the willow before the others were halfway. Panting, the others caught up, shouting over the wind.
"Kyla!" Cried Tango, "Wait!"
Kyla stopped at the tree, and turned to face the others. After a few seconds of observing them, she lifted her hand, and her eyes turned electric blue. She lifted her hand higher and higher, and the others found...
They were lifting too.
"Help!" Cried Em, struggling fiercely. Tango tried to punch the invisable air around them. Flo just simply screamed, no struggling, just screaming without pausing for breath. Pinky blacked out completely. Matt was yelling and kicking, bellowing filthy words that shouldn't be mentioned. As they all lifted about 10 metres into the air, they sped towards Kyla. Speeding through the storm, wind whipping around them, faster and faster...
WHAM
They hit the ground with a crash that was soon lost in the clap of thunder that echoed through the sky. Em sat up slowly and stared. Kyla's eyes turned back to their normal green pupils, and the water was streaming down her face like tears. They WERE tears, mingling with the rainwater on her cheeks. She turned, her plait whipping around, facing the adventurers, and Kyla ran, into the distance, alone, with nothing but the wind chasing her.
