How do you remove mods?

I downloaded the single player commands mod and is there anyway to delete it?

Kasper is right, but there's an easier way, launch MC, click options, select "force update" and launch the game. This doesn't require you to backup or delete anything.

get your saves out of it and put them on your desktop
locate your bin folder and del. it
start minecraft
you wil get a fresh bin.
put the saves in the saves folder an you can play your maps
