How old is Steve, the default Minecraft character? Our first night, we're so busy punching trees we don't meditate on the subject for very long. So, I'm going to explain, in a mathematical fasion, how old Steve is.
If Minecraft has been around since may 10th, 2009 (4 years and 149 days ago) and Steve gas been around since the start of Minecraft. Then he has the same age as Minecraft has. BUT, what about his real age, the Minecraft age?
1 day in Minecraft is 20 minutes in the real world. 1 Minecraft year is 121.75 hours or 5.07 days in the real world. Now, 1 real year is 72 Minecraft years and 1 real day is 72 Minecraft days or 2.4 Minecraft months.
4 real years= 72+72+72+72= 288 Minecraft years
149 real days= 10728 Minecraft days= 29 years and 143 days in Minecraft.
288 Minecraft years + 29 Minecraft years + 143 Minecraft days = 317 Minecraft years and 143 days.
In conclusion, if you zoned out right there, Steve is More than 317 Minecraft years old. Every 5 days, he's 1 year older.

Now, the real question is this: why doesn't Steve look old?
We can't really answer that question, but you can have some theories, like I do.
1: Steve was cursed, which would also explain the REASON of playing Minecraft. It would explain why Steve is abandoned at the beginning of the game in a desolate enviromment, far from civilisation, why he's attacked every night by the undead, giant bugs and exploding mutated pigs.
2:Steve is actually a god. That would explain why he never actually dies and respawns every single time.

and Steve? (mob, not INDEV) was removed 0.0.3.2.0.0.1.0.8.9.0.0.1 or B.1.8.0.1
However Steve?'s first removal was in Indev, where the second mob was made.
Steve? was changed to not be particularly "STEVE?" but "player" as of Alpha 1.2.2...but
0.3.0.0.0.0.0.1 was steve?'s first removal
BUT before that his Steve? MOB? CLASSIC became in-spawnable with |G| and
in beta 1.6.6, The change log contained the message "Removed Herobrine". This was Notch "joking" when removing parts of the coding for the Human mob. This and the following three "Herobrine removed" mentions that appeared in Betas 1.7, 1.7_01 and 1.8.1 removed the individual class files for the Human, merely making it somewhat of a default mob. It could still be spawned, but it possessed the default health, (10 hearts) spawn conditions, (Light level 7) melee attack, view distance, and various other parameters shared by all other hostile mobs at the time. The mob at this time now was called "Monster" instead of "Human". so The name "Steve" is false and notch also said that his name is Steve? as he does not want to specify anything about him/she
