first make a folder on your desktop named what you want the pack to be called the go to start type in %appdata% then .minecraft then bin open minecraft.jar with winrar or 7-zip. copy all the files in minecraft.jar then paste them into the folder you created earlier. now open the folder you created earlier then delete META-INF NET LANG PAULSCODE AND COM now delete all the .class files keep pack.png, pack.txt and particles.png now open textures folder if u want to change items or blocks now go to a thing that you can change the texture of the thing dont use paint heres a website you can use no download or setup http://pixlr.com/editor/ now change all the things you want to change then right click the texture pack file thats on your desktop and click add files to archive then add it to planetminecraft!
