The End is a tough place, and probably has the toughest enemy you'll probably ever face. The Ender Dragon. Its only rival being the Wither, the Ender Dragon is very far up in health, damage, and attacks. Here I will show you just how to defeat the Ender Dragon:
1) Take out the Ender Crystals, the lare floating things on top of the obsidian towers.
Note: A bow works well, but you can climb up the towers using blocks and punch the crystals.
2) Fight! These are a list of attacks to prepare for:
a) A diving attack - He will dive towards you, leaving a huge crater similar to a TNT explosion.
b) (XBOX and PS3 only) Ender acid attack - The dragon will spew out acid, same effect as a fire charge.
Tips:
The Ender Dragon has 100 hearts, or 200 health.
The Ender Dragon does this amount of damage: (based on difficulty)
Easy: 6 damage (3 hearts)
Normal: 10 damage (5 hearts)
Hard: 15 damage (7 1/2 hearts)
The Ender Dragon will drop 12,000 EXP and a portal back to the Overworld, with an egg on top, sort of like a trophy.
The Dragon Egg will teleport away, look up tutorials to find out how to get it!

Maybe it could include the checklist of items that are necessary for those who are getting ready to fight. For example, everyone surely will remember to take the sword and the bow, but in my experience it is also very useful to have a bucket of water, which can save you from endermen if you happen to aggro them. Another thing you should not forget is a stack of blocks. Ever so often you don't spawn on the main floating island. Instead, you spawn on a small obsidian platform floating in the middle of nothingness, and you'll have to build the bridge to the mainland. If you don't have enough blocks to do it, or if you forget to take any blocks at all, you will have pretty much no other choice other then to kill yourself.
Another important fact to mention would be which enchants work best against the dragon. Clearly, Smite and Bane of Anthropods are completely useless, but if I remember correctly, fire doesn't work on him either. Does sharpness? I think it's the only one that does any good, but I can't remember. I don't think potions work against him either, that's another thing that would be important to mention, if it's true and I'm not misremembering it.
