Minecraft 1.17 Cave and Cliffs update snapshots are free to download and they are almost always released on Wednesdays.

The Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update was announced at Minecraft Live 2020 and it is by far the most wanted Minecraft update! People have been asking for a Minecraft cave update for years!
Minecraft 1.17 Cave and Cliffs update snapshots are free to download and they are almost always released on Wednesdays.
Instructions:
- Open Minecraft Java, under Minecraft: Java Edition, select Installations.
- Under versions, select Snapshots.
- Select New, name the installation, create a new game directory (preferably in your Minecraft folder, fill in your preferred settings and then press create.
- Go back to the Play tab, in the bottom-left select your 1.17 installation and press play.
- Once Minecraft 1.17 has loaded, you can create a new world and look all of the new blocks and new cave generations that will be added over the coming months.
