Quick video showing how to get the default textures for Minecraft.

This is SUPER handy if you're creating a resource pack and don't wanna miss anything.

For those that don't wanna watch the video:

Download WinRar, 7-Zip, or a similar program
Open the Minecraft Launcher and launch the most recent version of the game
Close the game after launching to the title screen
navigate to C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions (ONLY IF YOU DID DEFAULT MC INSTALL)
Select your version and open the .jar file with your program of choice (7-zip, winrar, etc.)
Drag the "assets" folder into another folder in your resources pack folder located in .minecraft
Delete the folders you don't want
add your pack.png (256x256 image) and pack.MCMETA (text file) to the folder that "assets" exists in
Done!
