Hi everyone! My first blog! I don't normally do these, but i have seen so many people not knowing how to mod on a Mac, and i think every minecrafter should know the glorious and wonderful world of modding. So lets begin!

MAC:
The first thing you are going to want to do, is go up to the help bar on the top tab of your Mac. Search, "Library" and click the one with the roman structure icon. Then, search for Application Support. Inside there, you should find a folder named, minecraft. Once inside, create a new folder that is titled, "mods" and then you are done with the basic setup. Now comes the big decision, do you want modloader, or Forge? I personally prefer forge, so i am going to tell you how to install that one. First of all, download forge, and modloader in your version. Pull up your minecraft folder, and go into the "Bin" folder. You are going to need a .jar or .zip opener for this. Change the name of the minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip and then open it. Drag all the files from MODLOADER into the there, and save it. Run and close your minecraft. Oh yeah, replace any files that it asks. Then do the same with forge. After this, your good if your minecraft runs. After that, download almost ANY mod you like, and put in the mods folder you made earlier. Run minecraft, if it does not open, the mod is not compatible, or you did something wrong. Thanks for reading!
