Most people start Hypixel SkyBlock and have no idea what to do. This series of posts is intended to fix that. This is the sixth of a tutorial series for Hypixel SkyBlock to take you from punching your first log on SkyBlock to killing your first dragon. These posts are going to be laid out in four sections. 1: The introduction; 2: The body of the post; 3: The summary and conclusion; 4: The YouTube video. Each of these posts will be released after every SkyBlock video released on my channel, so every 1-2 weeks. With that over, let’s get into it!



  Today, we will be covering Farming – more specifically, the Mushroom Desert. We will start by buying a Rookie Hoe from the Farmer Merchant, which is located to the right of the spawn portal (though at the time of writing was located behind it). We will now enchant it with Harvesting at the Librarian who is located to the right of the Auction House (though at the time of writing was behind the spawn portal). Now, enchant it with Telekinesis in the Gold Mine (or in the Enchanting Table if you have enough levels, because of the recent Enchanting Update which was after the recording of the video).


  Now let’s head to the Barn. From there, go past the barn building and up the staircase between the carrots and potatoes, and you will see the warp to the Mushroom Desert. It requires Farming level 5, so if you don’t have that yet, level up as many collections as possible in the Barn until you reach it. Once you have reached it, you will be prompted to collect “Farming resources,” specifically sugar cane, cocoa beans, and cactus. Once you have collected at least one of each, you will be prompted to collect mutton and rabbit. Once you’ve done that, I recommend you collect some mushrooms as well; at least enough for a minion. Do the same for the rest of the collections besides sugarcane and mutton, unless no one is killing sheep in your lobby.
