How To Shade
1. Get your un-shaded skin and pick a colour for the hair.
Then make a pallet out of it going slightly darker each time.I use about 6 pixels in the pallet for hair.

Step 2. Colour the hair a different colour then add lines 2 pixels high and 1 apart:

Step 3. Do this to every part of the hair:

Step 4. Outline the pixels you just painted like this with a slightly darker colour:

Step 5. Repeat the previous step until you get something like this:

Step 6. The Top & Bottom Should Look Like This:

And The Bangs/Fringe Should Look Like This:

The whole head should look like this:

Now For The Clothes!
The clothes use a very similar technique to the hair, all you have to do is this:
1. Make A Pallet

2. Fill the clothes a different colour, then create lines like this - 2 wide and 2 apart

3. Do this with a slightly darker colour, doing it to every one of the lines

4.Repeat step 4 until you get something like this

5. You will notice there are ugly lines between the arms and body, so get one of the lighter colours you used, then set the opacity to be around 20-30. Go over any ugly dark spaces and then you should get something like this:

6. This technique works for any piece of clothing, including shoes! It also works for skin.
