When you start playing Minecraft you notice there are creepers everywhere who want to destroy all the neat stuff you have even if all you have is just a dirt block. At night creepers tend to creep on you everywhere you go. The first thing you need to survive a creeper attack is a good well built house [not made of wood, covered with at least two layers or 4 layers of cobblestone] Make sure you have a light source in your house and I mean it has to be every where in it. Best thing to do is get a lot of wood, wooden planks and a furnace to make the light source. Also you will need sand to make a small glass roofing for your house so you will get a little light. Convert all your wood to charcoal [or use x ray to get coal :P] [just kidding don't thats not survival] for the furnace. Make glass for the roof. Once your done with that....
