Hello fellow PMC'ers I am writing this blog to highlight the differences of Fake and Real Pixel art, it has recently come to my attention that this a problem in PMC that no one is really noticing. Here is an example of a fake Piece of Pixel art.
At this moment you may be wondering, "NobSwitch I know you're extremely awesome and everything, but how can you tell that this is fake? I see absolutely nothing wrong with it."
"This is easily answered to," I say "The way the pixels are formed in the 'Fill' areas are a clear indication to a fake piece of pixel art."
In this picture I have outlined where the pixels are formed incorrectly, as someone who used to do pixel art, I know that I never formed it in that way, sure it works, but when someone does pixel art, they don't change ANYTHING they do it exactly as it was made with no differences. (Or at least they try to.)
This is just a zoomed up photo of Bowsers cheek, as you can see clearly now (the rain has gone) the pixels are formed abnormally.
I can tell you straight away that this was done legitimately, just look at the pixels, they are correct, nothing is wrong with them, they are exact to how the real photo is. But because fake pictures like the Bowser are stealing the pop Reel, this picture will not get the love that it deserves.
Back when I was obsessed with pixel art, I did a Moltres, if you look, the pixels are formed correctly, but also, In a big project like this, it can't really be perfect, the outline of the pokemon is correct, but the fire was extremely hard to do, so if you look at the original, while comparing with this, you will see that the fire is significantly different to the original photo, if a photo is not perfect, and has a few mistakes, you can bet it's been done legit, because if your like me, and after an hour of pixelling, you see one mistake, and to fix it, you gotta spend another 40 minutes on it... well I just say f*** that
At this point, if you really don't like me you would be thinking "Ok, he imported it, so what? There is no rule 'NO IMPORTED PIXEL ART'" and I reply with "Well, there is no specific rule, but it's hidden in there, in Rule NO.1 STOLEN CONTENT. and in this it sais "Only upload original content that you created." so therefore, anyone who uploads fake pixel art is breaking the rules.
I am sad to admit, that I have also uploaded FAKE pixel art, so I know exactly how it works, and even though I wasn't happy at the time, I thank charzhoopz for removing it. Here is further proof that it is against the rules.

We got the Bowser removed Solid effort Guys!
I don't know if it was removed by A moderator, but the guy who "made" it was pretty adamant about the fact that he did make it.. so F**K YEA!
EDIT: Also, the Pixel art Program "SpriteCraft" Imports white background as Snow, not white wool, unless snow has been disabled on the menu. And, Blurring around the black, there is dark grey wool, and light grey wool, I have yet to see anyone actually do this legitimately.
If anyone wants me to check their pixel art, link it in a comment, and I will check it out.
