Hi I'm going to list some tips and tricks if your interested in playing hunger games. There are a few tactics to fighting in Minecraft it is not just simply charging and hitting each other until someone dies there are many different ways to fight.


Flint & Steel:
This is a very important tool in hunger games as an offense weapon or also a defensive weapon it has the effect of stopping the person from sprinting if they are on fire meaning u can catch them or escape with ease and does the same damage no matter there armor. The best situation to apply it is to place the fire on the ground just before there going to hit you. You may take one hit but the effect is well worth it.


Fishing Rod:
You make think a fishing rod is useless but also can be very effective way of knocking enemy's back or if your chasing someone stuffing up there sprint allowing you to catch them. (advanced tip) when charging your opponent hit them with your hook and then attack with your sword this stops them from getting a critical hit but you still get a crit putting their health lower and giving you the edge.


Bow:
The bow is used pretty much the same as in normal minecraft but, remember this you do not have to full draw to shoot but, it does do less damage every time u lower your power behind your arrow.


Sword:
This is easily your primary weapon, make sure in fight when you run at each other try to move to the side and get them from behind as you pass because if u get them form behind it means you have more damage than they have which is everything in hunger games. Make sure as you sprint you are jumping if you jump and hit it will be a critical hit which means More Damage and therefor you are winning the fight.


Sprinting/ Invent management:
Always hold space so you are jumping while you sprint as you will go slightly faster allowing you to catch people of they are not "sprint jumping". For your inventory it is very important to have a setup you know without thinking I have my sword and bow next to each other allowing for a quick swap between, then flint and steel's then food and a fishing rod on the far right. It is very important to make it how you know it and how it feels natural.
