Hey everybody! I have not been on lately due to my broken arm, but I should tell you how it happened. Here we go!

I was at gymnastics practicing my roundoff back handsprings. My coach, Jeff, was spotting me (even though I had it all by myself without noticing.) Jeff told me, "You have it all by yourself." And I was determined to do it.

So I did it. My first round-off back handspring by myself. I felt so proud of myself, until something happened.

On my second round-off back handspring, I did the usual. Except for one thing.

In my back handspring, I felt pain burning all over my elbow as I heard a quite loud POP!

I immediately fell to my knees holding my arm in a 90 degree angle. "Ow, oww, oww!" I kept saying. Before Jeff noticed, he showed me how bent my arms were, until he noticed something was wrong.

He ran over to me and inspected my arm. He asked me where it hurt, could I move it, and he took me aside to the break room.

Later, I had an ice pack under my elbow and I had to keep my arm above my heart to keep it from swelling. I told Jeff, "I-I think it's broken."

And it was. They had no idea.

Another friend of mine, Amber, told me, "It's probably a sprain. you'll be better in no time."

I appreciated that she was staying on the positive side, but it didn't help. The pain was still there.

I went home about half an hour later. And that's how I broke my arm.


Three Days At The Doctor

Day 1: I was given an X-Ray and Doctor Steinbronn told me a bone moved and I might have to have surgery. He let his other expert, Dr. Wills, decide that.
Day 2: I found out I had to have surgery and they were going to put two screws in.
Day 3: I had surgery.
