Like really. It seems that everyone is making modern houses. Just slap on a good shader and a modern texture pack and take some pictures of a house that looks exactly like every other house on the Latest feed. I mean do what you're good at but add some color. Not all modern houses are white with some wood thrown in. I would love to see more shapes than just square. It seems that instead of making houses out of our imagination its just making specifically modern houses out our imagination. Be creative. Make a Victorian Era house or a Hobbit Hole or just something that isn't a house people have made dozens of times. And if you do just make it your own creation. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a well made modern house, and there are other types of houses that people also make religiously. I mostly just mean that we shouldn't obsess over modern houses because there are other types of houses that get neglected because everyone focuses on the thing that is doing just fine in the Views department.Thats just my input. I would love to hear your input though.

And while I'm at it I'd like to discuss what these "blog standards" are that everyone is holding this one to.
